My baby is 6 months now after 2 losses. I had 3 losses with my first. In my experience having a rainbow baby in your arms doesn’t erase the pain but it does fill that hole that is left in your heart. It makes the pain sting a lot less and allows your soul to heal. Even though we still carry the pain and PTSD with us we find a way to keep going because that’s what moms do.
I had my scan today. 13 weeks tomorrow after 4 losses in a row. I’m so excited for the first time. Really enjoyed hearing this recap. I’m sorry you were suffering x
I hope I get to see your updates in the comments! I know this sounds weird from a stranger but I'm excited for you! Sending you all the positive vibes and love your way💖🥰
So proud of you Elle for getting through such a difficult journey. I’m on my own infertility journey as well. I love your videos. They have helped me feel not so alone during such a vulnerable time.
Oh, Elle! The nausea and vomiting is something I do not miss about being pregnant! In fact, besides the infertility, I hated being pregnant. Big hugs and can't wait for the next update!
I also dont like throwing up in toilets and it makes me throw up even more LOL. Hopefully the sickness goes away soon! So happy about the news! I'm watching in my office with my headphones on and I was trying not to make a noise but all of a sudden i hear myself making these train whistle noises LOL Trying to hold my tears in.
Currently 23 weeks with my baby girl and my nausea stopped around week 10!! So maybe you'll get lucky! Eating protein in the morning helped SO much as well.
Super happy for you Elle! Thank you for being so vulnerable and open about your journey! As a guy I’ll never understand but sending love!! I’ve been watching you for 12 years, crazy! Cheers from LA. 💕
I watched you and Blair from when you both first started on RU-vid. You two were the first people who got me into watching RU-vid and it now kinda rules my life so thank you? Haha Just wanted to say, I am sending so many prayers and positive vibes to you and your family as you go through this journey.
I'm so happy for you and your family! I've been on my fertility journey for 2 years now and watching your videos gives me hope! Sending love and good vibes!
Awh congratulations 🤗 I am 8 weeks and morning sickness is kicking in hard 😭 the extreme exhaustion started in week 6 and hasn’t stopped 😭 so fun to see we’re almost around the same stage looking forward to seeing your updates 🤗 it’s been a roller coaster all ready with multiple nurse calls and one trip to the ER and hearing you talk about what your dealing makes me feel like I’m not alone!
I'm week 9 right now and I feel your pain!!! Morning sickness is so life altering. Mine lasted until 20 something weeks with my first, 17 with my second, and I'm hoping not that long with this baby. I hope you're feeling fine now!!
I’ve been watching your videos pretty much since you started on RU-vid and I’m in the early stages of a pregnancy as well so it’s kind of like having a friend 😭 Wish you all the best sweet girl 💕
Elle, go to Salvation Army or Goodwill and find a big metal bowl with high sides, and have that as a dedicated throw up bowl for you and for the family. With 2 kids you're going to need one in future anyway. Since it's metal you can sanitize it easily and it's not a toilet or a trashcan
I’ve been watching you since I was 14 or 15 and I’m about to turn 27 next month. I was so excited for you when you announced your baby! I found out I’m pregnant 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I think I’m 6 weeks, but I’m going to the doctor soon to find out for sure. Now I’m also thankful for your updates, makes me feel like I have someone who knows what I’m going through as it’s happening. I can’t imagine your nervousness having gone through what you have already, cause although I have no reason to think it, I get so scared something could happen to my baby. Praying for good health for you and baby!
When my infertility clinic told me it was my last visit, I had a look of sheer terror in my eyes. They caught on and let me stay a few more weeks. I think I need up transferring around 12 weeks. I definitely needed time to mentally prepare for that, the clinic was the best!
I was the same way with throwing up in toilets! This is going to sound gross but I would always run to the kitchen sink and throw up there because I could use the garbage disposal to help clean afterward. And I bought a little plastic trash can that I would line with those little plastic trash bags. I would carry that around with me so that I could just easily toss the bag after getting sick. I’m so glad your pregnancy is going well. Can’t wait to see another video! 🥰
I dont know if this is just a british thing but i hate throwing up in toilets too so we’ve always had a sick bowl - a designated big bowl for you to carry around with you snd throw up in, lob the sick down the toilet and flush it away and disinfect after use sooooo handy!!! X
Have you tried Diclegis? I had to take it when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was losing weight like crazy and had to keep going to the ER to get fluids.
I hope you are done with your nausea. I gagged through your whole video. Ugh I’m 15w4d. I hope my nausea ends soon!! This is my first baby so it’s very reassuring to hear you say it’s worth it.
I'm so happy to hear that your baby is doing great 🥰 it was really hard to watch you being so unwell with the nausea 😅 I hope you already feel better 😊
I know you're farther along now but I'm currently 9 weeks so it's cool to have these come out on time with where I'm at now! I feel you with the nausea🤮 Hopefully it's gotten better!
I'm 9 weeks today. This pregnant is so different from my first. My first one I had no symptoms or problems what soever. This one I'm constantly nauseas and unbelievably tired all day. I also have a hemorrhage which the doctor said is nothing to worry about, it should go away on its own, but I'm still so worried about it.
I was nauseous week 5-6 and then got really sick weeks 7-12. Ended up having hyperemesis gravidarium which was sucky and ended up going to the emergency room to get fluids because I was so dehydrated... Couldn't keep water down or any food for a month. But week 13 started and I could start to eat again after being put some medication...First round of medication I couldn't keep down. Now I'm almost 36 weeks and I have reflux and I'm getting flashbacks to trimester 1 🙈
So happy for you, Elle!! Glad things are going well (except the nausea!) are you going to reveal the gender of your baby on any future vids?! I’m so curious!! 😆
I’m hoping you are past the nausea and vomiting in real time, but if not I really love emesis bags like the hospital has. You can buy them on Amazon. I also hate barfing into toilets.
do you have a garbage disposal in your kitchen sink? i wonder if you could throw up in the sink then (not a plumbing expert haha). that sounds like it might be more appealing to you than the toilet!
But imagine, every single person that you know was a successful pregnancy! Why would you not be blessed with that again? (I wanna say you're not that special, but I don't know if you relate that line of reasoning, so please don't take it the wrong way! I just find it calming, takes the focus off of me as an individual)
I don't like throwing up in toilets either. But that's because once I got super drunk and basically slept on a toilet all night and could just smell the pee. So if I can smell a dirty toilet I will actually gag. 🤮
Not pregnant, never been pregnant, but I totally HATE throwing up in toilets. As a kid, my parents had a “puke bucket.” Do your thing, dump contents down toilet and flush, rinse in the shower, and then spray down with disinfectant 😅😂🤢 gross
I quite like your hair grown out like this. You're probably like "I want it dyed" and you didn't like going full brunette. But this is like a autumnal moody blonde haha
