For darker type of Bladee I recommend Perfect Violation, one of his best

i might have a too dark interpretation of this song but from the lyrics and how drained his vocal delivery is, i feel like this song has a strange eeriness to it despite being so bright and cutesy on the surface. "if the warm gets cold, we could be like smoke, we could go up", as the body turns cold after death, the spirit rises like smoke. "i wanna see you baby coming out the ashes", referring to the phoenix being reborn from fire. "take the rainbow home, take the rainbow road" makes me think of bifrost, a rainbow bridge in norse mythology which leads to the realm of the gods. it's probably more so about a mental refuge to this heavenly place tho, or creating it here on earth for a moment (like at a rave or something)

that's the entirety of good luck for me. it sounds like an artificial heaven, all these happy sounds but it's all metallic and empty inside. i wish they did more with that vibe. think it could have been a much better album

if you want much clubbier but also darker bladee try the varg2tm feat. bladee tracks (esp. FELL (!!!!!) and SHINIE). Varg2tm is an experimental/industrial/noise/techno (whatevereererrerr) producer and dj, also from sweden, but originally from a quite different scene

I consider both tracks 2 of the best tracks both artists have ever released. Extremely transgressive in a subversive, poppy/clubby catchy way, and pushing the boundaries of any music affiliated with hip hop or pop rap

They would both kinda fall under the umbrella genre term of 'deconstructed club', though just loosely, a discipline of post-industrial and is basically postmodernist music, whose goal, if you say it does have one, is destroying borders and undermining the sounds of culture (mainstream and industry, that is), in the same vein as the counter-cultural industrial music and William Burroughs

The "Cease 2 Exist" projects also IMO heavily mingle with ontology and existential philosophy a la Heidegger, anxiety, hope, hopelessness and mysticism a la Zohar , like the concept of ein-sof from Kabbalah, a jewish mystic discipline. Kabbalah is also a basis for many esoteric methods like those in the hermetic/occult Qabalah of people like Aleister Crowley, who is also an important key to Bladee's and even William Burroughs's works. ps: Not fully confirmed, but it seems Bladee has Jewish ancestry and though probably not dogmatically religious in the slightest sense definitely knows his kabbalah references.

If you remember the song “Security!”from ecco2k’s E project, the whole instrumental was sampled from a mechatok song

rainbow road is probably a reference to the mario kart map PLUS taking psychedelics and meditation n psychedelia (lovely tongue-in-cheek new age elements on this album and in the videos as well) ps: lots of plays on chaos theory and loss/gain concept as well as 'fate'/probability and chance themes in this one, hence LP name 'good luck' and all the stocks and gambling stuff - it might kind of be about influencing and thus determining your future in a chaotic world by whatever you do, which is always true, and as-is, rather mundane - buuuut bladee and mechatok slap it in your face and remind you of your own powers and that during the peak of covid! chaos theory 'worked against' the whole world during that time, indeterminism (for us mortal beings), some shitty super low chance of some crazy virus due to some, presumably, bats, bringing the whole world down (thank God not any earlier than now due to digitization and globalization) - BAD LUCK - fucking up the whole world - but since loss and gain are the same, this album told the individual: "Let there be a chance, have your good luck! Let this be your chance and let there be light!"

Thirty years ago a college professor I had said that diseases and pandemics would be what killed us. The more of us there are, the more waste we create, and the fact that we don't keep things clean will breed the thing that wipes us out. So, a lot of your post I agree with, but there was never a low chance of this happening, it was a foregone conclusion with 7+billion people. A matter of when, not if.
