Just 3 years previously, I was on this show aged 10.

One of my favorite drummers.. he was out of Rainbow at that time.. I often wondered how he would've sounded as a replacement for John Bonham, we will never know unfortunately 😟

In 1981, Robert Plant was working on his first solo In 1981, Robert Plant was working on his first solo album, Pictures at Eleven, and Cozy Powell appeared on television with Robert in connection with it.("Cozy Powell of Rainbow" = Cozy left Rainbow after the August 1980 show at Donington, so this is also wrong.)

Great footage, I was old enough to be watching shows like this in the early 80s but alas too young to know who these guys were at the time, there's a great clip of the Gillan Band playing "live" on No. 73 somewhere on youtube also.
