As Taoist I use to walk and often do my meditation in the forest while it rains. My grand father trained me to listen to all saounds of the nature when I was 8 years old. It's an inner cleansing mind process that makes you feel so relaxed and in harmony with yourself and all the other people around you. When you empty your mind it's like to wash away all negative toughts

exactly. and we can not push anyone to get there. we just have to be strong enough to deal with the stupid and aggressive ppl around us. its tough. the only way is to get stronger inside. i have to learn it right now, i have terrible neighbors, they are dumb and aggressive and they have no respect to anything. came here to find peace and now its like in a war. such nonsense. this behavior. i dont get it. its so sad that there are people like this. the world could be such a good place, but no. it has to be the other way. 🙄

In 1986, I ran the Lakefront Marathon in Milwaukee. My last "effort run" was a 15 mile church fund raiser the week prior at the church my then girlfriend went to. It rained about as hard as is depicted in this video. I remember hearing the thunder and being keenly aware of God's presence above. I felt the rain washing and cleaning my spirit-self. I was in the church basement after my run changing into dry cloths and hearing the congregation upstairs singing a hymn.....We all experience God in our own way. As a boy a man and now a senior I have been blessed to spend most of my entire life, work and play, outdoors in His creation and I thank Him every night for this beautiful life-time blessing........if you are reading this, I'm guessing you are blessed in ways you may or may not know.....Namaste

It might not help you, because everyone is different, but something that helps me when I'm feeling down or lonely is to find a grassy hill outside with a couple trees, put in some earbuds with some instrumental only classical relaxing music like this and just think about myself and what I can do to be a better version of me. What I can do to be a better person. What I can do to put inject more positivity into the world. I find something oddly soothing in trying to be a better person, and it usually kicks me out of the slump and gives me the energy I need to go to the gym which then gives me even more energy and helps to create a positive feedback loop in my life. If you end up giving this a try I truly hope it helps! Be the best you can be and shoot for the stars!

My old house as a kid had a spot where you could sit and watch the rain sweep in from some distance away, over the trees, riding the wind until you could start to hear the patter on the leaves and eventually on the roof. If I knew there was a storm coming I’d try to hurry to that place and stay really still to capture the feeling again and again. I wasn’t even that sentimental of a kid but something about that feeling always moved me and reminded me of gratefulness, sorrow, loneliness, and quiet. 🩵 to all. Peace

Whatever your family is inflicting upon you, brother or sister in humanity, i believe in you and wish all the best for you. The negative comes from Mara who would try to put down the Buddha but he never succeeded in doing so. Mara will come and go where you are in life yet your inner self will remain a vital part of existence, and for that reason alone you are worth everything good in this world. It is 9:44A here in New York City. Wed, Aug 16/2023. I've been listening to this wonderful relaxing music. I don't sleep well due to stress....Going thru a lot in my life currently. I rarely speak of this. I am glad to have come upon these beautiful compositions. I hope this therapy works for me. Right now it's a life line for me. It's keeping me from going over the edge. Just remember all problems comes and goes. Make sure you don’t go with your problems. All I’m s combined with meditation what happens in the now becomes the past. I'm looking outside at a huge bamboo clump we planted 10 years ago and its gentle movement from the wind, dancing and swaying makes life worthwhile. Simplicity is golden.
