Getting out in the rain for some street photography around Dublin!
I don't often shoot in the wet. But I decided to brave the weather, grab my Sony A7iii and the Zeiss 55mm F1.8 and see what I could grab!

Recently bought a GX9 and trying to learn more about using the camera, more street photos, also seeing other's use it. But everything I find a channel I like who use it, they go and buy a Sony. So live your style, but may move on shortly.

A7iii you've gone over to the dark side, lol. I thought this was gonna be a GX9 vid. If I had the money I would love that Sony to go with my GH5, but could never afford the lenses.

Hahah! I'm enjoying it 📸 not been able to do a lot of leisure shooting with it just because I needed to go Emount for a lot of work with new producer and director so I can swap lenses and match cameras! So far it's been great for opening new avenues for me 😊 I'll be having more fun with it in the coming weeks for the channel 📸

You should really add the rain droplets into your photos in post. I have been told of just the app to use. Looks super realistic and all the IG kids love them. Would really take those photos from drab to Fab.

Also running on gh5 & a7iii combo here. I'm not too comfortable with street photography because of those eyes lurking at you with like 'wtf?'. So for me now it is high shutter speed and snap spy phots :D

Hahahah true that! I have the 105mm f1.4 sigma and I haven't used it for street yet, cause it's a GIANT 😂 and it's the opposite of stealth spy photography 😅📸

I had the chance to start working with some new producers/directors that use Emount! So I invested in it so I could work with them (swapping lenses and marching camera profiles) 😎 its just one of those things. Gotta be flexible and so far it's been worth it 😊

You switched to Sony? Missed that somewhere along the way, or maybe you just didn't make one of those dramatic "OMG I'm switching cameras!!" videos :D Doesn't matter, your street shots are great whatever you use, always enjoy this kind of video when you put them up as I'm all about the photography, never really use video.

Lol I didn't feel I needed to make a video about it! There's a million out there and they're so boring 😂😂😂 my reasons are work related. Emount let's me work with a new group of creators that also shoot on it 📸 so swapping lenses and marching colours is easier when working with them 😎 ok well I'll keep making these types of videos so 😊 They're a lot of fun

@@CreativeConnor Good stuff :) I actually almost bought an A7III recently but the seller was mad paranoid about insuring the package from the UK, postage was hitting £100 so I bailed out. Went and bought a Fuji XH1 instead, still got the G80 but not sure what to do with that yet

Awesome! I've heard great things 😊 I'd love to buy an Xpro1 and a prime in a few months 📸 just to play around with 😍 Fuji are doing some deadly stuff these days! How are you finding it 😊

@@CreativeConnor Not actually got it yet, ordered from the UK on Friday, be nice if it got here tomorrow. I shot with Fuji for a couple of years before M43, had the XT1 and Xpro 1, I preferred the T1 but I think you might prefer the pro 1, pair that with any one of Fuji's fantastic little primes [my old fav was the not so nippy but excellent IQ 35 1.4] and you're gold for the streets

Yeh I'd be using it for really slow paced photography! It'd be more about the feel and fun than the output 😊📸 please let me know how you get on with your camera 😎 have you picked up any lenses?
