As a bonafide 80’s kid, I can concur that Rakim-Allah was a hero to the rap game. Big Daddy had a stage presence that had me fooled into believing that Kane edged out Ra. But almost 40 years later, as a 52 y/o man, when I listen to the content and flow of my favorite 3 MC’s (KRS-ONE, Kane and Rakim) I conclude that the ‘R’ was waaay better!! His rhymes had more substance, and quite frankly, if given a ill beat, Rakim could still ‘Move the crowd’ even now in 2023!!!! He deserves the title as #1 MC of all time….He earned it!!!!
