+Federico Acosta Thanks for the feedback Federico! In my five years of filming i have never sped up any video. My goal was, and always will be to capure the action in the most realistic way. Therefore we upload videos in 1080/50p. I can only make guesses as to why it appears to be sped up to some viewers. I'd assume it would be some hiccups in YT rendering, missing some frames that leads to a warp in certain situations.

Evil Von Retee Ummm, it IS real... Rally cars have a tendency of being fast when in the right hands ;-)

No it is not, many parts are clearly speedened just that little that it would show faster but real.

Start low level, buy something cheap with an engine under 2.0L. Like a 206 for example. Take part in events over a substantial period of time so you learn how to handle rally racing. Forget the high end Group B cars. The will get you killed if you don't have the skill to handle them and will cost you about as much as a house or two. I say this in the assumption that you have not raced before, at least rally. And of course, I don't rally myself, so I'm not the most credible source, but everyone knows to avoid powerful cars as a beginner.

David Lyon I would agree ... Then again though, WRC cars are also on a complete other level in terms of speed, watching some WRC 2017 the speeds they reach on some surfaces is INSANE!
