Today I'll review my latest and greatest bag, the Ralph Lauren Ricky 33. And is this better than the Birkin?! The Ralph Lauren Soft Ricky 33 is probably one of the BEST kept secrets of the fashion industry. If we're still talking about quiet luxury, this is the pinnacle bag (but I'm bored of quiet luxury, so we're moving on.). I can't say enough good things about the Ricky, and I'm so excited to share this review with you and hopefully you add the Ricky to your collection!

This year I'd love to add more pieces from Hermès like the Birkin size 40, Constance, 24/24 and Bolide. Maybe I'll be bad and get an Hermès Kelly 40! I also recently fell in love with the Chanel Jumbo- so that's kind of a must-have for my collection, along with a Chanel Mini Rectangle and a Chanel Reissue. Thrilled you made this video! I’m a Ricky addict! I have 7 in all different Leather,suede,pony hair,cotton 6 in 33 and one black in 40.. I also have a Ricky white bucket. I sold the black as the gold was too loud I found. It’s an underrated bag which deserves more ❤️ love! Thanks Caleb!

I agree with your comparison as I have both bags as well. Totally agree the Ricky is more country high end if that makes sense. I also love both as they are so different. Although I have to say for me the Ricky is WAY easier to get in and out of.

Hi 👋 Calleb, great review I would love 💕 this bag in a small size do they come in a small size? And ugh crossbody’s that you have too use crosscross drive me crazy. I only use them when extremely fatigued so they are a must to be there but I totally am with you on that. TFS 🛍️🚢👛🦆🙏

My family is a big fan of anything by Ralph Lauren. I never understood why until last year when I came across a small rare, vintage houndstooth purse from theirs. I love wearing neutrals, so the purse somehow always manages to somewhat make any outfit in my closet "Pop!", as some would say. Their products, at least in my experience, are of the best quality and, when taken care of, can definitely last a lifetime.

I sometimes feel, dont cancel me people, that i actually like the look of the ysl sac du jour, specially bright colours and moc croc. Sometimes i prefer it over a birkin. I like the sizes and the shoulder strap... I'm not surprised other bags could be better than a Birkin. Craftmanship aside

Both look so beautiful. But, getting either of them opened looks like a big pain in the a$$. I could never understand why the Birkin is so expensive and so highly desired. It would drive me nuts trying to get it opened. I’m willing to spend $$ on a bag but it has to be functional for daily use. As always, great video, love the side by side compare. 👍

I have my burgundy Ricky 33 but I don’t use it. It doesn’t retain its shape due to the leather not having any structure. It got saggy and I hate that. Love the leather and love the silhouette of the bag but I don’t like the slouchy look. I’m currently rocking my Dooney nano satchel. Goes to show you, it’s not about the brand or the cost. It’s about the look

Just saw your video. I’d call RL and confirm that when they say “bonded” they truly mean the glued scraps. Some fashion designers will use the word bonded to describe a full leather lining bonded to a full leather exterior- which is a different meaning from the “bonded” leather term used in the furniture industry.
