Gotta admire his vision of seeing through the whole Earth and out the other side into the galaxy. That's beautiful, all right. A good smile from him as he relates this one.
i saw insect/plant beings! they told me i was a guest on this planet and to have respect for the environment! they were a thousand feet high and i could hear/ see the negative image, almost polarized, the the shape of them! i saw the thorax and was able to see harmonics. i was able to see them microscopic, like looking through your eyelash with a water bead on it through the sunlight!! you know that line in your vision, when you try to look at it and it runs away from you?
The only serious business is exploring reality and the psychedelic experience. This guy will be remembered as important while you'll be a forgotten youtube troll.
Nobody seems to realize, nobody gives a flying f*#k about whether or not someone else thinks it's a spiritual thing. If one thinks it is: cool, if one thinks it isn't: cool. I know one thing, everything in nature is there for a reason, so are these compounds and what you make of it is all up to you. A yes/no discussion is pointless.
Good for you! Lots of religious people say things like, "What's so wrong with religion if it makes people feel better?" Well..does it really? So many studies show that higher rates of religiosity correlate with higher rates of social ills(murder, disease, STDs, less education, etc). In fact, in America, the demographic that has the most abortions per-capita? Evangelical Christians. Now if that's not cognitive dissonance, I don't know what is. Apprehending nature via consciousness is my religion.
yeah its dmt. some ppl believe the presence of the plant or 'mother' makes a difference. ayahuasca also has an maoi inhibitor, so it lasts much longer and comes on slower. so the experience can be unique.
You have a right to your opinion but please accept that your opinion is most probably based on very little knowledge of the subject. This is nothing personal just try to understand before you comment.
OK Margaret, here's the thing, I'm no angel. I've done my share of drugs, and taken my share of "trips" but, never, even in the middle of an amazing psychedelic wonderland, did I ever believe, even for a second, that it was anything more than a drug induced vacation from reality. I never ascribed any real meaning to it because it had none.
Lol. Go take some shroooms mon and tell us about all the new wisdom you've received from the other dimensions of reality you visited. Tell us about how you became one with the jaguar and met your wolf brother, doood. XD
There was actually a good controlled study done on the iconography and visionary content of ayahuasca in a book called "antipodes of the mind" and it clearly shows there to be a common theme involved with ayahuasca visions despite who you are, where you're from, etc.
You don't know who Ralph Metzner is. He is a legendary man who was there when lsd and mushrooms were becoming popular in the US. He was one of the normal friends of Timothy Leary(now that guy really had all his brain circuits burned. Check who he was if you don't know) What he is talking about is actually more coherent than many other DMT users. He also shows he is thinking clearly and speaking normally despite having done lots of lsd in his youth.
