This video was filmed twice, once in a rainy day, unfortunately not our fault we can’t control the weather, and once in a dry weather. Please watch the entire video before making any silly comment.
You can control which days to film though. It’s not rocket science bud. Not to mention, why even film in wet weather … what would that prove against a 4 wheel drive vehicle?
@@SamCarLegion, the track wasn’t completely dry on the second run and the road was cold. Of course a 4 wheel drive Dodge Ram with 700 horsepower will win. It’s amazing that you thought this was relative to anything. I have a stock Dodge Charger 392 Scat Pack that can beat the TRX on a dry strip. My 0-60 is 4 seconds and quarter mile is around 12. Not to mention, my top speed is 175 mph vs 118 mph on the TRX but that’s a different story. The TRX 0-60 is 4.1 seconds and runs the quarter in 12.7 … both times slower than the Scat Pack. You also had a second person in the Challenger to add weight … that made a bunch of sense. Lol
@@smf2072 it does and that's exactly why dodge has not made an AWD challenger or powerfully versions of the charger. (There was an AWD charger rt.) Like I said if they made the charger/challenger awd it would be going against the muscle car heritage. They are better off just making a new car with a new name and make it AWD. It would also sell better. Since the hardcore Mopar guys will be upset about an AWD challenger/charger.
yeah its just that it takes time for it to roll. the trx has better acceleration but in the top speed the hellcat wins. ina short street race trx wins, but if theres a road straight enough & long enough, once that shit starts rolling its wraps for the trx.
Uh where is that little graph that shows the power and weight numbers at the begining of the video? great video though, I'm surprised the challenger couldn't grip in the dry.
The Hellcat was probably on the black key and wasn't fully floored because there was no supercharger whine at all. Off the line from the angles of the video during the last races in the video, it was dry, and the Challenger looked very slow, so I doubt it's a Hellcat, probably an SRT or an R/T with a Hellcat body kit. The TRX shouldn't gap the Challenger Hellcat like that. I know it's the same engine, but the TRX is 6400 lbs and with worse aerodynamics, and the Challenger Hellcat is 4400 lbs. The top speed of the TRX is just 118 mph compared to 199 mph of the Challenger Hellcat.
4WD vs RWD, of course the truck will win from a dig or in the rain. 6:16 the challenger nearly lost control trying to accelerate. Finally when it's a fair comparison on dry pavement at a roll, the challenger walks away.
A little quality of life improvement, dunno if you'd want to invest the time, but if you could create sections in your videos where different races occur that could help a lot of the confusion.
It would be my absolute pleasure to demonstrate this destruction to anyone with the TRX.. I live in the Philadelphia area.. Cool Truck though.. But in my opinion it would have his hands full just with a 392 challenger on a dry surface that Arn’t equipped with poohrellis 💩 tires. And especially not on the factory 9.5s those stock wheels are good if you have a death wish or you just want to over rev the hellcat in every gear above 4000 rpm.. ask me how I know?
I'm pretty sure a lot of people call it the T-Rex because I call it that and there's another RU-vid channel I watch where they drag race and a dude on dare called it a T-Rex 🦖
Dig and roll racing a Hellcat on wet roads?? I'm surprise the Hellcat's back-end didn't come around and careen the car off the road doing 360's, don't ask me how I know this!😅😅
Racing on a wet road proves absolutely nothing and I’m baffled as to why you chose that for a demonstration of speed. The Challenger has a hard time sticking to dry pavement for an inexperienced driver let alone wet pavement compared to a 4 wheel drive vehicle and why was there two people in the Challenger? To add weight? You proved nothing there.
Click bait at its finest. What a worthless test. You should race the hellcat against a boat on lake Michigan next. "Watch as a Boat smokes a Hellcat!!" *click*
I think a Seadoo Spark Trixx would have faired better on that day than the Hellcat. That Hellcat was plowing so much water with its front tires, it stood no chance at hooking up for a proper launch.
I can do 0-100Mph in my Redeye with 315 555R2s on The stock Widebodys 11inch rears In 6.8 seconds? What will the TRX do?? .. well the TRX will do 0-100 in from a standing stop in 10.5 seconds. Hmm let’s do the math here, oh yes 37 car lengths behind me just to 100 from 0
