நன்றி! இந்த காணொளியில் இராமலிங்க விலாச அரண்மனையில் உள்ள படங்கள் முழுமையும் கீழே தற்போது இருக்கு. எனது சில முயற்சியில் இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் பாதுகாப்பாக எல்லா அறிய படங்களும் சாமான்களும் சரி தற்போது அமைக்கப் பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த காணொளியில் காண்பிக்கப் படும் தெப்பக்குளம் காளையார் கோவில் உள்ளது. நான், மாச்சிமை தாங்கிய இராணியார் அவர்களிடம் வேண்டிக் கொண்டதற்கு இணங்க சில லட்சங்கள் செலவு செய்து அரண்மனை வாசல் இன்று அழகாக வண்ணம் தீட்டப் பட்டு மிகவும் சிறப்பாக உள்ளன. இந்த அரண்மனையில் தற்போது சிவகங்கை சிம்மாசனம் பாதுகாக்கப் பட்டுளது. அத்துட ன் முக்கிய மாக திரு. எல்லீஸ் துரையின் கல்வெட்டு, அவரை புதைத்த இடம் இடிக்கப் பட்ட பாகங்கள் சலவைக் கல்லின் பாகங்கள் பாதுகாக்கக்ப் பட்டுள்ளது. இதன் மற்றும் ஒரு சிறப்பு. நன்றி.

thanks madam in sharing this valuable video. I was not knowing that such a beautiful palace is there in our tamil nadu. Definetly we will visit and see the palace. Why Government doesn't protect and make a beautiful show with proper lighting etc? Government pl. take a note of it.

Why he named as kizhavan

Videography very amateurish, presentation, dull and drab. I had been to Ramalinga Vilasam a few months ago inspired by what I have read and seen in the Tamil movie Veerapandiya Kattabomman. Ramalinga Vilasam houses a small museum, its care taker was very kind and enthusiastic in taking us around and explaining the various objects and its significance. He showed us the exact spot where Kattabomman is said to have met Jackson the British Collector and also the opening of a secret underground tunnel through which Veerapandiya Kattabomman is supposed to have made an hasty escape after the clash with British Collector Jackson as requested by the angry King of Ramanathapuram who feared a British reprisal against him. This of course is totally contrary to what you see in the film. unfortunately no book on the palace history was available with him. Lack of finance and technical know how is clearly evident in the up keep and maintenance of the palace and museum. We Tamils keep harping and exaggerating our past glory but never take care to protect such historic monuments. A must see place when you visit Rameswaram.
