Naadham from your Mridangam is very beautiful and I consider is to be very high quality. I don't know much about the calculations part, but it was very pleasant to hear, especially, the thoppi(?) side. The great Tanjavur Sri Kalyanaraman had a lovely song in Gavathi. Now, this brilliant Ramana after the rare Anandabhairavi(that raga is usually associated with Shyamashastri; now his neighbour Thyagarajaswamikal's song Nike teliyalaka is here) and his layavinyasom(fast and furious) now Gavathi thillana by himself. I tell you Muthuswami Dikshitar was vainika-gayaka. Did he play the mridangam too? One thing for sure: Ramana is a vainika-gayaka-mridangatala vidwan. Our music is in good hands with chaps of brilliance such as Ramana. Frm the tiny California town of River Islands namaskar to Ramana from Narayanakurup Kanthikumar
