Rambles: Wenger Swiss Military Greatness 

Wenger makes a solid watch at a very reasonable price. I have owned probably 7 of them over the years and have never been let down by the brand, which is now owned by Victorinox. All have been accurate and very well made.

My dad was about to throw this watch out because the strap ripped, put a leather nato and a fresh battery and I get more compliments than my Rolex

I like that one. I have that same band, they just work. It's got everything I need as well, big enough numbers so a person doesn't need the bifocals to see it.

I love this watch, but the only thing I don't like is that there is NO screw down crown

Wenger is pronounced as "vanger."

Your pronunciation of the name isn‘t bad really. You‘re saying it a bit like Wing-er. Try using the same stress, but say Wang-er.
