Thanks Peter, I discovered that technique some years back by accident in the way the central image somehow stays relatively stable, don’t ask me optically how 😀
Oh wow! What stunning and beautiful New Zealand photos! The sunset at the end was absolutely breathtaking and I loved the waterfall photo!! Great video and such beautiful images!
Thanks Gracie, sometimes I think RU-vid has made me a bit too subject focused since getting my channel up and going three years ago so I've been trying to just get back to a bit more random shooting for fun this last year 😀
Lovely! Great video Chris - love your photos and your music selection! You’re really skilled at photos of the natural landscape as well as city/ urban scenes. Pretty beaches and sunsets! Love the night shot of downtown! 😄👍👍💙🩵
Hi Jennifer, thanks a lot 😀 The music is almost always the last part of the editing I do and heck, sometimes it takes me ages to find what I’m looking for (always the free music from RU-vid). I took those night shots about a mile from where I live (my view is, unfortunately, in the opposite direction 😀) when I was putting together a video called “the lighthouse” which has taken me ages for such a short clip (not yet published) . The Lighthouse is an art installation in the form of a house with neon lights inside at the end of one of the wharves in downtown Auckland. Here are some of the images off my Flikr account www.flickr.com/gp/kiwi-at-the-camera/oPsyv38yjh
Hi Durian, (I hope thats you name 😀 not the fruit which unlike most westerners I actually like) . Thanks for the view and glad you enjoyed the images 😀
Nice compilation! Thanks for sharing the cameras you used to carry out the beautiful captures. The ocean surf is fabulous at 1:20, looks and sounds incredible all foaming up along the rocks. Rangitoto Island has a really nice silhouette shape, and the city views through the trees and grasses is great. Keep up the amazing work 🌴🌴🌄⛰⛰👍👍
Hi thanks a lot. I often wonder what cameras other creators use for their video, particularly when it comes to really smooth cinema-like video which seems quite hard to achieve for us amateurs. Phone cameras have got pretty good over the years but they fall down when you really want to do some serious editing and their video is also pretty darn decent, but being a camera tech nerd from way way back I just like the control of the process as much as the result 😀. I thought others might be interested so I’ve been putting what I use in the description for a while, but congratulations you are the first to actually comment on that ✅😀.
