It's always fun to see your reactions and your thoughts. I didn't know until just now that the "Angel" video was shot at Prinzenbar. That's a small club on the back side of the Reeperbahn in Hamburg and directly connected to the Docks (Spielbudenplatz) in the back. The Reeperbahn has one of the biggest Erotic Club Scenes in the world (music and sex are close together) and the Beatles lived there for over 2 years and played almost daily. The whole environment fits wonderfully with Rammstein and this video. I was there, in the Prinzenbar, once at the Reeperbahnfestival (biggest club festival in the world). A wonderful club, which I also remember now.
Great Reaction as always. Most of their oldest songs have making of videos. If you check their official site in you tube you will find them all with English subs too !!! Mein Land has a great making of. Actually all are great !!!!
Stop acting old - you guys are an inspiration. I´m 34 with my second and you guys seem more active than us. We´re in Europe atm. but ever though of coming to the states, that was my dream. @@SueSueandthewolfman In Munich, all four concerts are sold out. I think it's the first time that Rammstein performs four times at one concert venue and all tickets were sold after only a few hours. Tickets are still available for Lisbon and Budapest.

@@SueSueandthewolfman There is a contradiction in that song. How can you be not wanting to become an angel but still refering to god? Does it mean you do not believe in the goals of the church, but you still believe in god? That contradiction gives the song a deeper meaning.
I conceive it as an ironically meant white lie to the satanically inclined attitude of the metal genre or the excessive lifestyle of a rock star. Like when it first goes "who's 'good' on earth will become an angel", you can imagine it as somebody (the society) says like: "you have to live pious to go to heaven or you make god angry". But they dont not wanna do this,they want "sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll". So he starts to badmouth angels like wanting to say: "look angels are no fun, so in fact I MUST misbehave, to avoid becoming one - god will unterstand this, he won'tbe mad ;)
