Ha, I checked out your channel - you're no noob, man 🤠 Key to the sound is striking the strings in a way that smacks them against the frets, metal-on-metal. But it was to be done without using too much force - for me, what works best is to hit with the hard tip of the fingers instead of the softer bottom portion... Bass is in standard tuning BEADG - song seems to be in D Phrygian (like minor but with a minor 2nd Eb). Chorus is D Eb F, verse is A Bb, then Bb G A. Hope that helps!
