Today marks 100 days since South Africa has been free from load shedding - the longest break in four years. Eskom's new leadership has been praised for its efforts to keep the lights on.
Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says, although this is a major milestone, it's not necessarily a moment of celebration.
"The only time we will celebrate is when we can say with confidence that we have defeated load shedding and created a sufficient buffer to allow the SA economy to grow."
