If you're talking about the Ramones version, that is correct. But if you're referring to the song itself, I must respectfully disagree. In the first Spider-Man film with Toby McGuire, there a scene where a street singer belts out a truncated version of the song.
ramones: has a cover of the spider-man theme marvel: hey let's use blitzkrieg bop in spider-man homecoming! EDIT marvel: hey let's use i wanna be sedated in spider-man far from home!
Parker Thomas I think it worked better because homecoming wasn't them selling spiderman out, with avengers and shit, it was just it's own thing, it's own story about being a teenager, and me as a 15 year old teenager, I actually like blitzkrieg bop
Hobie doing a slightly more punk/aggressive version of this song would've been sick. Or hell even if this was playing in the bg of him doing his intro it would've worked amazingly
Super-man is paid. He has a nice job at the Daily Planet, the Kents have all kinds of ranch businesses. Oh yeah, don't forget Super-man's secret crib in the North Pole. Spider-man is the guy always hustling for rent money, and money to help his aunt with her bills. What are you talking about.
Yup. Love it to this day. Didn't realize it was recorded in Canada (the original, not the Ramones). Sure wish a horn-heavy band would record it again. Or, at the very least, the original would get an extreme remaster. Is the original master even available? Likely not. :(
Lyrics: Spiderman, Spiderman Does whatever a spider can Spins a web any size Catches thieves just like flies Look out, here comes the Spiderman Is he strong? Listen Bud He's got radioactive blood Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead Hey, there! There goes the Spiderman In the chill of the night At the scene of a crime Like a streak of light He arrives just in time Spiderman, Spiderman Friendly neighborhood, Spiderman Wealth and fame, he's ignored Action is his reward Look out, here comes the Spiderman In the chill of the night At the scene of a crime Like a streak of light He arrives just in time Spiderman, Spiderman Friendly neighborhood, Spiderman Wealth and fame, he's ignored Action is his reward To him, life is a great big bang up Whenever there's a hang-up You'll find the Spiderman!
Amo muchisimo esta version del tema de los 60, ademas de que lo hace los Ramones, que mas pedir para que sea perfecto, que este en los creditos de No Way Home
DarkOwl23 69 I know right! I was waiting for this to come out , it would have been so perfect for the end. I hope the have it in the next Spidey movie.
No other band could pull this off this was written for the Ramones to play and Joey Ramone to sing. It fits I don't know what anyone else think. It would have made one hell of a end credits in a Spiderman movie
+Alex Cooper 5 movies and i still wonder why they didnt use it yet. Maybe expensive copyright or something. However i think the chinese girl in spiderman 3 jokes about this song
+Andrès O That was actually Spider-Man 2 with the Asian lady but all three of those moves have had a variation on the theme (SM1 with that Chad Kroeger look alike singing in the subway, SM2 with the Asian lady on the violin, and the marching band in SM3).
@@bluesolace9052 so, the third and probably most interesting spiderman mcu movie will come this year or next year, and it's supposedly the end of the spiderman trilogy (same thing they did with iron man), and I think it would be more appropriate to put this song for the 3rd
If Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man are in Tom Holland's 3rd Spider-Man film "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (which I think they are), I wish this Ramones' version will be in the film or the film's end credits song. ❤️ Also, I think that this is Sony & Marvel's opportunity and time to make this happen since they're already exploring the Multiverse. Spider-Man 3 of Tom Holland, indicating all three Spider-Men together. Saving the universe. Then this song is being played while they're together or maybe played in the film's end credits. Just imagine that. Sony & Marvel should make this happen. It's only a one-time opportunity and it's both their chance while all of them are still alive and kicking! They gotta make history!
And also, let's consider they used Blitzkreig Bop and I wanna be sedated in Homecomong and FFH trailers, so, I strongly believe, they want to use this theme as well.
What if combine the song with Tom's Theme? (You know, the "instrumental orchestra" versión) That could be like a remasterized epic versión of their song
I haven't seen NWH yet, but I think this song wasn't in it. BUT THERE'S STILL HOPE FOR FUTURE SONYxMARVEL PROJECTS AS LONG AS TOBEY M. & ANDREW G. ARE STILL ALIVE! 😂
Me pegó el viejazo, el único super héroe que me gustaba era éste y nadie mejor que Ramones para homenajearlo. Que buenas épocas, no poder volver el tiempo atrás.
I think it should be a law that we have to refer to Stan Lee as Stan "An Asshole Who Did Nothing" Lee. It would make it more apparent that trolls like you are only screaming his name because it's the only name you know.
I am so UNBELIEVABLY happy with the life decision i made in 96 to go see these guys at Lollapalooza. There were a few great acts that day, but none like The Ramones.
This particular song was from an album released in the mid-90s called "Saturday Morning's Greatest Hits" it features indie/alternative artists doing covers of songs from animated and or children's shows from the 60s and 70s including Spiderman and Fat Albert
Heeheehee...my kids have loved this since they were 5!😁😎 very cool little future citizens of the world.❤....They're teens now and still have great taste in music! Thanks funky Mama. Thank you myself. Miss you guys.💖
The spider that was bouncing on the lyrics was adorable. The spider swinging from buildings was awesome! The guys singing about that spider did a classic theme song justice. :)
I remember people using this amazing cover in their videos like ...8 years ago? God, I feel old now. And only now, after all these years I finaly found it ...it took me so long
After hearing Blitzkrieg bop early on in Homecoming I was half expecting them to use this for the end credits honestly would've been perfect. Just think what could've been
i was 3 years old when my older brother downloaded this on our old computer (it took like a week to download) and taught me how to open it by myself and i would watch it a million times. it definitely built my character.
Ok, i'm an old time Ramones fan. We've got Blitzkrieg Bop at "Spider-Man: Homecoming", and they just teased "I Wanna Be Sedated" at the "Spider-Man: Far From Home" trailer. They *must* include this in the movie's ending credits scene. It's the *logic path* . DO IT MARVEL! DO IT!
I used to have the compilation this song was from, "Saturday Morning Cartoons Greatest Hits". Rock and Punk covers of cartoon theme songs from the 60s and 70s. My favorites, besides this one, were Helmet - "Gigantor", Dig - "Fat Albert Theme" and Face to Face - "Popeye the Sailor Man".
This was my shit when I was 8 (Edit January 9th 2021: Still is my shit. Perhaps the best cover of the classic Spidey theme (as well as a great music video). Also, yes KobaltLaser I'll go clean it up.)
