Nick's take on the Rams is great, they're probably the hottest team in the NFC behind San Fran. The one other factor that I don't think he mentioned, which improves his argument, is that they've been there and won it before. They know they can get it done in close, meaningful games, where Philly's confidence is clearly shaken.

Wildes is a national treasure, and hearing Dusty's fading far away laugh is waaay better than any canned laugh you could ever get

The 49ers secondary gets called for unnecessary roughness on 3rd and 10, gives up 14, gets called for a defensive holding, gives up 22 then the Browns kick a field goal. The 49ers get the ball back with 1m39s to go. Purdy drives them from their own 25 to the CLE 23. With 9 seconds left, Moody comes on to kick the game-winning field goal and misses the 41 yarder. at Min - 21/30 (70.0%), 272 yards, 1 TD, 2Int, 81.5 passer rating. CMC fumbles the ball in the redzone on the opening drive. That last 4 drives for the 49ers end Touchdown, Field Goal, Int, Int. Those who didn't watch may be asking "What happened before those picks?" 4th & 1, a QB sneak is called and Purdy takes a big hit to the head. The very next play, interception. The last drive starts with 1m11s to go, Purdy throws a 9 yard and 11 yard pass. With 30 seconds to go, he throws 18 yards for the 2nd interception. After the game, he's officially put into the concussion protocol. Cousins, in this game, was 35/45, 378, 2 TD, 1 Int, 107.2 passer rating. vs Cin - 22/31 (70.97%), 365 yards, 1 TD, 2 Int, 94.2 passer rating. Gets the score to 17-24 with 8m12s in the 4th. Burrow and Mixon marches Cincy down the field to extend the lead to 17-31 with 3m left. They are driving before the 2 min warning. After, Purdy takes a blindside hit after the substitute left tackle got beat, fumbles the ball before his arm came forward to pass. Burrow was 28/32, 283 yards, 3TD, 0 Int, 134.8 qb rating. The game against the #1 defense Browns wasn't a pretty game, but for all three, Purdy kept us in them. A lot of the issues with the secondary and offensive line have been corrected since then, and not just the return of Trent and Deebo.
