I was from that country. It makes me sad that the poor have very little rights there even in this era. The landowners or Zamindaars own everything. People work like slaves to these greedy landlords.
What a beautiful documentary. Ramzan's son did an extraordinary job by presenting the second pelican to Muhammad's family in order to end the feud. Very unique and interesting tribe.
It was a very beautiful documentary. I thank those who made this beautiful documentary. And I wish health to the people of this region in this documentary. I am from Persian land.

Wonderful, in-depth documentary. All over the world humans have developed a special relationship with birds and animals. Kokrebellur is a village in Maddur taluk of Mandya district of Karnataka, India. The villagers love spot-bill-pelicans. Every year hundreds of pelicans roost and nest in the village, they are protected by the villagers. For centuries Kokrebellur is safe heaven for birds and pelicans.

The state was obligated to control the bullying of wadera (feudals) and to protect the basic right of the unprotected citizens to at least earn their living. But it’s a misery that the state of Pakistan, through its political and administrative mafia, itself became the protector of bullying feudalism! The injustice and corruption continue to the detriment of poor dwellers of Manchar Lake, as have always been!
