Your kids may not be the luckiest kids on earth, but they're real close to it. I was (unfortunately) born and raised in a big city in NJ but for as long as I can remember, I loved country music, horses, cattle, dogs and most all animals. and when I was 15 I had an opportunity to work on a dairy farm in North East Pennsylvania for the summer, (and I did so for the nest 3 years and spent one winter on that farm when I was 18 also.) It was the best time of my life, bar none ! I milked 6 cows by hand every morning and evening, learned to drive on a 1947 pick up truck that had a starter button on the floor next to the gas pedal. We made 10,000 bales of hay and stored them in the haymow of the barn. I did some plumbing, carpentry and concrete work and really had no time to get into trouble ! I loved every minute I spent on that farm and learned many things that served me well throughout my 79 years on this earth. In my humble opinion, there just is no better way to grow up then on a working farm or ranch. PS: I think your wife, Reggie & Reilly are the coolest, good luck and God bless you and your wonderful family ! I can help but get a big smile on my face every time I see Reggie, or for that matter Ret, they are too cute !
Anchor brand ranch is the best on RU-vid. People may tell you junk tell like your not a good parent but actually your better than them. Those boys are becoming men like they should. Learning to be responsible in a way that fun. Not stuck to a computer or video game like mine were. They will grow to be real men and yep your also raising a wonderful daughter. Good for you both. Keep it up and forget the haters.
You are 100% accurate. Most kids today couldn't do 99% of what these kids do on a daily basis, rather they're too damn lazy to do so...if it don't involve their cell phone, tablet, or game console they simply can't do it.
@@wildbill23c that’s the way we grew up on the farm. We learned to work , fix broken equipment, make what we needed instead of buying it. Back in the 40s, 50s, 60s there was no money. Make it or do without.
Not many kids get the chance to grow up on a ranch or farm doing this work, I was lucky and did, but I certainly won’t tar all kids with the same brush, as lazy, or good for nothing, because of where they grew up
God Bless this working family… if our country was still teaching our children as these parents we would not have so many drugs and jails!!! Thank you great parents!!!
These boys are some serious good hands. Always enjoy their abilities. But I am gonna say this one thing. I love when Ridge gets involved. I always smile at his antics.
Many people don't realize that they were called "cowboys" because it was boys doing the work with the cows. Your boys are blessed beyond measure for the life you are giving them.

Hell of an awesome job parenting. Those kids can do anything when they are exposed at a young age to it all. My pop did the same with me growing up. I milked cows, spent full days on the tractor and worked cattle and love my dad for taking the time and patience for it all. Love your vids. Thank you
Yes mommy, you do have a great bunch of boys. I saw fine looking girl in one of the videos. Pretty like her mom. Well heck the whole family is a nice, loving bunch. Stay safe
😎 this is such a wonderful family to watch. I love how those kids listen to their folks and pitch in. I am new, but seek out these posts because I enjoy them so much. In a world where crazy is everywhere, this gives me hope that normal is still there.
You guys ,Mom and Pop make me so happy to see such a great family. The love just shines in every thing you do. God Bless you one and all. Thanks for the Mons Pura to. I have a lot of arthritis and 7 back ops. It isn’t that I like surgery ,it is I don’t like hurting.
Kudos to the best darned ranching family videos on RU-vid! It's how ranching is done right, using the whole family, kids learning more as they grow. Total family participation in every phase of the operation. Everybody can learn something from watching this amazing family! God bless this Anchor Brand bunch. Keep 'em coming!!
@@oransmith6009 you have good grass better fences ,more money, these cows are wild free range crafty and if you have to rope one, some times cow on the rope will charge you in rocky ground you can't run your horse in opposite direction to tight the rope.you got a bunch of tame cows!!
Henson just had a horse wreck and is out with two broken ribs so ya know… feeding, riding, lifting… it’s all on me. But it’s all good- just happy he’s alive 😅
@@PaintedDesertRanch dang sorry to hear that 🤭 hope he gets healed up well. A couple of my boys have come home from MRI and X-ray this week with broken wrist and a broken elbow so I m short 2 of my best helpers. It makes a difference too!
Always watch your videos with my wife and kids. The best part was I got part of it in stereo. When that calf got after Rio, your wife and mine were making the same sounds.
It is so awesome to see family working together. ❤ real, it's good, family time more families need this we wouldn't have problems in the world today. Thank you for sharing your videos and life . God bless you all again thank you
great job working the cattle. I hope Little man did not need to much explaining from Mother after she turned on the stern voice, sure is an independent little guy. I hope Sissy is driving well. Nice job recording with the gopro on his chest, nice touch. Stay safe and healthy.
IN COMMON: I am LDS and raised on a 640 acre cattle ranch in California in the Mohave dessert. I wasn’t a big fan of living so far out when I was Sissies age but wouldn’t change a thing for the values and common sense I received growing up.
Return of the real cowboy, those kids will hopefully pass down the wild wild west for generations. Lots of common sense skills being learned and shared. God Bless your family!! Keep up your show.
I never had much of a backside. Always had to wear a belt cinched up tight. No belt and take two steps and my jeans were heading south, lol. I remember how many times and for how long I rode the stirrups instead of the seat, get home and grab a fluffy pillow to set on! Some of them were some pretty rough days in minus weather but you know what? I loved every minute of it and miss it to this day! Great video guys, as usual!
Mamas boys done you proud !! That was some good ranchin. I was really enjoying the beautiful mountains in the back ground gorgeous!! and the little ones found some treasures of shot gun shells to add to there collection. Good show love to see your family working together🙂
The training on that horse to so nonchalantly walk into the trailer with a rider and cow in tow, then spin around and come back out while blocking the cow in is impressive.
I enjoyed this video so much I had to watch it twice. These boys are amazing on these horses. I truly could watch this all day. Great video. I love how long the video is too. Doing amazing job.
The boys getting in some wide-open roping practice! Ridge being the little dare devil as usual! got them all caught and now for the rest of the work! Love the videos you are putting out!🙂
Such beautiful scenery of the mountains behind y’all. I truly enjoy watching your young men working with the horses 🐴 and the cattle 🐄. God bless y’all and your family. Momma you did a great job with your boys. 🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸
The mountains and scenery in the back is beautiful... But effing hell it looks like a dry, dusty and hot as hell. Just like so many farms (ranches) here in Australia. It really does make you wonder, firstly where the hell the feed and water comes from. Then secondly and most importantly, it does make you wonder how/why on earth anyone would want to live out there. It definitely takes a certain kind of person to live that life, doesn't it? They have to love it, but they also have to be tough as old boots. Lol. This really does seem like a lovely, hard working family. Those kids are a credit to their parents. They should be very proud. Whilst I don't necessarily agree with some of the horsemanship practices I saw in some of their earlier videos, for the most part though, they seem to be doing a great job in that area as well. Plus their horses all seem to be well fed and well kept and in turn the horses seem to look after their young riders. You can't ask for much more than that, can ya?
As a point.. there’s nothing better than a good..man..woman..horse..or dog.. nothing worse than a bad one! We are seeing an example of the good in these videos. The gift of good horses, you can trust your life to them.
hello folks well great to see yuall umm guess what i done i went and researched your brand anchor brand ranch now i know a bit of it,s history yeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa
Good morning ☕ Nice to see Reg supervisoring the getting of the calfs Might be a future bull rider the way he wanted to ride the calf 😆 In all honesty what a great an beautiful family you all are take care ❤
That was a great video. Team work at its finest. Great to see how each family member looks after the other. Did you finally get straightened out with you tube so your getting something out of all your effort’s? Thanks for all your efforts.
Gotta admire Laura's calmness as she tells Ridge to look at her and not get on the calf! That's an experienced mom. I'm not sure who was the videographer in the beginning - Rance maybe? Sure did do a nice job, showed us some things and told about them in a clear voice and steady hand with the camera - whoever it was - great work! Once again a wonderful video.
in the summer snakes === dogs===---kids===how much\\\\ do you have to guard against snakes ==love your channel i got 3 hours in yesterday=3 hrs tonight
Does my heart good to see how all of you getting along and working together, to get things done...Great bunch of kids both of you have. And very fortunate in these time we all live in now. The little red hair Dude, I think his name is Richie...What a little Spark-Plug he is. You guys won't have a dull moment on the ranch as he grows up and probably all his life. I sure get a kick out of the little guy for sure. Didn't see Reo's roping horse that's a fine horse. Good video keep it up.
My bride of 51 yrs. loves your family, especially Ridge! Please continue to have him end the videos with an add of "Like and Share". Ramzi, did you find your WHIP?
If able you should try to locate a friend or family member or a friend of a friend of a family member that makes music and feature their music on Anchor Brand Ranch. That way you would avoid any copyright strikes and also feature someones music, or a few artists music. The non-copyrighted generic youtube music isn't the best, would be cool to hear some local Utah music as well.
That’s a good idea. Your righ the free music is not the coolest but it dose keep me out of trouble with copyright. If anyone knows any artists I would love to feature their music
Another day on the ranch, cowboy up. Those are some mean and wild cattle out there in the desert, be good to see the kids doing sports like their football, basketball and wrestling, to silence the critics about all work and no play. Especially the wrestling as it such a western tradition, should get a lot of views and subs. This is one cohesive family unit, rodeo is def in Ridge's future, such a little showman.
