At Walt Disney World, the security guards will sometimes go up to the little girls in their princess dresses and ask the kids to sign their autograph books and really play into it like they really think the girls are the real princesses.

I've sadly become very cynical of the people standing at corners with homeless signs. So many of them are just scamming to get money, making it a full time job. There's been tons of videos, news stories etc about it and I just hate it because there are people who actually do need help and some scumbags out there are making their lives worse.

My nephew has Down's Syndrome. When he was 3 he and his mom had moved back home with my parents. (I was 13 at the time) and one morning at 2 am, a truck driver rang our front doorbell looking for the people to whom this little boy belonged. The door on his and his mother's room had protective doorknob covers on but he'd learned how to circumvent them and let himself outside to go to McDonalds, a block away. He never got further than just in front of the house, but he was in the middle of a 4 lane highway when the trucker found him. After that his door got locked from the outside when the last adult went to bed. Kids can't be amazingly resourceful.

Sometimes you just have to do the right thing. I worked at a car dealership and found a wallet in the restroom It had $1,000 in it. (Yes I did count it) It was a battle between temptation and my upbringing. I looked at his picture on his driver's license and went looking for him. I found him and said, "I think this is yours." He just said, "Oh thanks," and went back to what he was doing. I started to second guess my decision but I really believe I did the right thing and I can't imagine the guilt I would have felt if I didn't.

You need your kid taken away from you if your 14 month old baby is crawling in the road that’s unacceptable no matter what.

I've seen a few stories in the news about toddlers wandering the streets sometimes in just a diaper and no pants or shoes and it's usually freezing out. The dog was saving that baby. It had more sense than the baby's parents. Where's your new intro??

One of the best things I ever did was when I was leaving Walmart I saw a couple I still remember their names Diane and Zack and they were traveling through States and sleeping rough they asked if I had any cash and unfortunately I didn't so I said let me go put my groceries away and I'll be back she offered to help me put my groceries away I said no thank you so I put my groceries away I ran into my sister I brought my sister there she gave her and Zach $20 and I went in the store bought them sandwiches drinks and doggy treats/food for their dog.. the happiness in Diane's eyes was pure it's all I can describe it there are no words for the joy that I felt being able to give to others

My son played basketball in high school. Senior night came around but they had 6 seniors. One of the seniors was a "team manager" and he was autistic. The kid loved basketball and could shoot fairly well. Problem was, you could only put five out. Unbeknownst to us, my son went to the coach and told him to put the manager in his spot senior night. The two teams worked out a play that got the ball to this kid for an open shot, he missed the first and they worked it back to him for a shot and score. The gym erupted in cheers and this kid was elated. It's been 14 years and I still get emotional thinking about it. It was a great night to be alive.

6:30 the polar plunge in Chicago has the fire department in drysuits and don't allow people to go beyond 3 feet deep or so.

If you want to swim in freezing water wait for the ice to get thick and cut a hole. People do it all the time. And no wetsuit, just what you’d wear for a dip.

During that horse rescue they cut away right before the guy got kicked by the mom horse. Good to help of course, but remember the animal might not know your there to help and might hurt you. Always good to be ready and not assume another species will know when your just being helpful.

I think in the situation with the baby by the road, I'd call protective services or the police and then just sit with the baby until those services arrive and disallow them from going into the road.

I make rainbow loom crosses for people who have cancer and I make the colors for the cancer they have and I give it to them for free giving them hope and happiness that there are people that are still good in the world

There is a channel called "ThatWasEpic" it shows a guy sometimes giving out gifts and sometime just humor. He does give outs like mr.beast with different style.

Sadly there are several videos on RU-vid of people finding babies and toddlers out by roads with no body around and they film it so they don't get in trouble and call the cops and everything. Usually turns out the parents are passed out asleep maybe because of drugs or alcohol in their house and the baby got out the door and is sometimes very far away from their home and the parents don't even know.

8:47 the guy ur thinking about was a homeless guy and it was the cops who offered to let him warm up. That’s why he asked if they were gonna take him. What the rest of the clip didn’t show, was the guy was a missing person and the cops got the father to identify him and they called the mom over speaker phone and she started to cry.

Years ago there was a story on the news about a toddler who walked out of a daycare without any worker noticing and walked into the sidewalk of an extremely busy street. Out of all the drivers one person stopped their car and picked the child up and took it to the daycare, not knowing that’s where the baby walked out of. Just so happened that was not the first time that had happened at that daycare.

We found a little 2 year old in our parking lot...just wandering out in a shirt and diapers and his little boots. The poor mom was breastfeeding her newborn and he opened the door and wandered out. Cops got her call about the same time they arrived from our call. Her crying when she found him just about broke my heart. Poor thing came out as soon as she realized he was missing, newborn in her arms. mom and baby looked like they must have been home from the delivery for maybe a day or two. The most irritating part was how many adults were out working that day and just...ignored this little baby in effing cold weather and just...went about their business. There was a whole work crew out working just ignoring him. They saw him too cuz I asked if that was one of the workers kid and they were like "nope"

I was working for Uber Eats in Las Vegas. I had an order I couldn't deliver, and didn't want the food. I tried to give it to a homeless lady, who flatly refused it, even though it was in a sealed bag. I then offered it to the guy sitting next to her, who took it. Even though there are signs all over my car, she didn't believe that I was trying to give her food that had not been tampered with. Once the guy opened the bag, I guess she figured out that I wasn't trying to poison her. She opened one of the sandwiches from the bag and ate. I wasn't looking for thanks, or any sort of favor, I was only trying to be a good citizen, and share with someone who didn't have, instead of wasting the food by throwing it away.

The one with the baby on the side of the road reminded me of a story. A guy saw a young child wandering around a Little League baseball park area unattended and so he took the child's hand and walked around looking for the kid's parents. The father of the child walked up and assumed the guy was trying to steal his kid and smashed him in the face and accused him of being a predator and the guy literally had to sell his business and move because people in that small town decided he was a predator despite the fact he was trying to help the child. When I saw that man pick up that baby I had to wonder how much longer people will be willing to take that chance.

Here in Minnesota, USA lots of people do "polar plunges" every year in far LESS that what that woman had on. There is one done here in my city every year to raise money for charity. People wear costumes to swimsuits to undies but there are officials in dry suits in the water to help people get out and into one of the hot tubs they set up for the event. In high school a group of us went up to Duluth, MN in January for a tournament and decided on a whim to run into Lake Superior up to our chests in our undies. I do NOT recommend it. We at least left our vehicles running with heat on blast.🤷

The thing that infuriates me, is that alot of videos you see like this, especially giving to homeless, is that alot of the people doing it only do it because they have a camera to video themselves doing it. I know alot of people video video it for others reasons such as to understand how rough things can be ro awareness or fundraising. But the people that do it (which unfortunetly is massive) giving away money to homeless so they can post it online for clout, whereas if they had no means to record they would never do it.

So, I was a waiter while I was in high school and I was cleaning up the dining room to go home at close. I found $200000 cash in the back of the seat cushion because there is like a pretty big cubby hole and it was usually full of food people dropped. I went to the cameras to figure out who it was and I ended up printing a receipt with their name looked them up in a telephone book (this was a few years ago lol) she owned a business and stopped their earlier. This lady was taking her money to the bank for a night deposit. Anyway, I called her she came back and gave her all the money. She didn't even say thank you, didn't give me anything (I'm not saying I deserve to get smiting), but she could at least give me a thank you. She said you better be glad you called me. Now I can call the police back and tell them you took it. And since that day I have never returned anything to anybody even if I see a stack of cash laying on the ground. Call me bitter lol This bitch was not even my customer. All the servers knew her pretty well I found out. She owned a huge business and left all the servers like a dollar tip every night on her way to the bank. As luck would have it I had her the next night and I gave her extra flavor in everything. 😆 😂

Not that I want any praise, but one night when I WA visiting the Philippines, I saw a couple sleeping on the sidewalk. 17 dollars for a room at the hote, super cheap. And some clean clothes...

I don't believe in the videos that film people being tipped a big amount of money. Most do that to get clicks and make a lot of money on their videos. Tipping doesn't need to be filmed. Just be nice without the camera.
