Random DOS Game Show  

It's going in my next Top 25 after playing it a bit more. Legitimately good, but I had never heard of it!

That's how most of my DOS finds happened too. "Oh a CD/Floppy with demos on it!"

About 4 minutes in, so I dunno if you recalled it, but you're talking about Alien Breed, re the Team 17 game!

@@StormkeeperPU not really, as you never got closed into an "arena" and shoot everything and then proceed in alien breed, it's more like smash tv all right

@@Zontar82 Lawnie couldn't recall the game on the tip of his tongue, so I mentioned it was "Alien Breed", which does indeed share a perspective with this game, though I'd probably compare that game more with Take No Prisoners or Mageslayer, in that all 3 games have a top-down perspective with a much more open map, as opposed to single screen arenas!

Yeah, it's lke Alien Breed in perspective, with the top down shooting, but the gameplay is radically different. And yes, Smash TV was the obvious influence, and I think I managed to all it something else entirely.

Yeah this is basically the DOS equivalent and is unashamedly so.

Yeah, I think I accidentally said Mad TV instead of Smash TV, a completely different game.

What a great selection! My £1 bargain was HeroQuest, so I was happy about that.
