New tech just dropped the other day - run into a wall. If your character stops the running animation, it’s just a regular wall. If your character runs in place, it’s a secret room
@@granthefato340 character will run animation everywhere except walls when running into walls the animation stops. Animation doesnt stop for walking into false walls.
@@granthefato340 It does work you have to only put 1 movement input in. If you for example press A + W it keeps walking but if you only hold A it keeps walking if its a false wall.
It never ceases to amaze me how there are still random facts about this game I haven’t discovered yet. Thank you for sharing them :) This may not be useful in many situations but I’ll gladly take another tool in my gungeon toolbox!
@@Roman_the_black_cat then you either pop a blank, or you walk into the wall if your character is still doing the little running animation then congrats you've found a secret
Ok, so I'm feeling there's some missing info on this: to hunt for secret rooms make sure the wall you're looking at has no furniture in front, also look at the map and see if there's space enough for a room to be directly adjacent to that room, secret rooms aren't like other rooms that can have long turning hallways, they are always right next to the normal room you're in.
