I’ve thought of doing this with my toddler’s clothes! She’s in the low percentile (FGR premie) and sometimes the clothes we buy or receive as gifts are just a bit too big. She’s also slim, so I’ve thought of adding buttons to the inside so the clothes are more fitted and then I can unbutton them as she grows into it. Great idea!

Fold hem inside to desired length while wearing, mark with chalk or pins where they line up, remove, unfold and sew poppers where you marked, sew corresponding ones on each length so when folded they close
