Bit late, but youtube is doing this now, putting years old videos up. I really Was feeling depressed this morning tho. Started watching Ricky Gervais on the Golden Globes. Been laughing for 2 solid hours. Depression? What's that😂
Nah he's not lying. I follow Jimmy on twitter and he tweeted out about a month ago that he's hosting the globes in 2017. No joke. Look it up. It's gonna be great
I love how Ricky just started a monologue about the seven dwarfs and the problem of reducing every dwarf to one emotion and then just casually said "Grumpy, I suppose" before continuing the discourse
you should watch a video on youtube. it's called "why jimmy is fake" or something. it talks about jimmy and his personality. it's not negative! it was actually really informative!
Bobby Drexler I ha e a hard time believing Jimmy fake laughs, with so many funny moments on the show. And the more nervous someone is, the more often they laugh sometimes. Are internet people hard to crack and do they not know people that laugh a lot? I had a friend who laughed at bad news, good news, random stuff, and more random stuff almost every second. It was exhausting.
I actually think Jimmy does it either bc he wants the guest to feel good or bc he gets nervous and just laughs bc of it. Or maybe he just laughs at everything lol, I'm the same way and it is still hard for me to believe that he fakes it lol
Lozzle Cozzle I've of course heard different British people on TV, mostly celebrities, mention things about different, *varying* accents throughout England - some really *posh* ones, and then some that are extremely thick and *impossible* to understand, and some that are said to be "the equivalent of the American Jersey Shore - but i think it's *really* *hard* for most Americans to pin-point where they all are from in England. But, on the contrary, i feel like the *whole* *world* can tell that a Southern accent is from *the* *South*, and that a New Orleans accent is from *New* *Orleans* specifically, and that a Cali Surfer accent is from the *beaches* *of* *California*. I wonder why *most* American accents are so much more *widely* recognized...?
Jimmy didn't know what to say because Gervais just plain caught him off guard. The interesting part was the little serious "Dude, don't do this" headshake he gave Gervais afterward before going back into his laughing persona
Funny when Ricky said it yeah, Fallon bringing em up two or three more times really beats it into the ground. I completely get the criticism he receives as being a lackluster late nite host now.
A nurse over the phone once asked if I had pendulous breasts when I called about trouble nursing my baby. I was in my 20s and it was all I could do to keep from laughing into the phone but my husband saw my expression. After I got off the phone I told him and we both laughed all day over it. I told my brother and it’s become an inside joke among us. When I heard Ricky say pendulous testicles it immediately made me laugh and remember that crazy phone call. The nurse was actually really cool and helpful but what a question! 😂
Genie: What are your three wishes? Ricky: Can I get a minute to think about it first? Genie: Your wish is my command. Ricky: Just give me a second. Genie: Your wish is my command. Ricky: Can you stop repeating yourself? Genie: Your wishes have been granted. Goodbye.
Ricky has been my favorite comedian and entertainer and largest inspiration since I first heard and followed the Ricky Gervais show. His cynicism, honesty, distaste of people, and his humor relate so much to me, even young, that I looked up to him and my sense of humor developed from his style. Him, Bill Burr and Dan Cummings are my top picks.
Whenever ricky needs to be funny impomptu he always nails it. Amazing comedic aptitude. It's a shame he doesn't like panel shows, he'd be great at them
i died laughing every second of this from ricky's hilarious laugh to his incredible fantastic jokes i love him there is no doubt that he is the funniest man of this generation :)
