This idea is not one I've seen, seems like a really fun one

Pat you should do a picking starters but its Squirldle (the pokemon wordle). You guess a random pokemon and sicne Squirlde has 5 different thing being, Gen, Type 1, Type 2(if no second type state its a monotype), Height and weight, each round of picking you use a different stat maybe for round 6 you use all 5 or do it based on starting letter. For example say Zigzagoon and youre using the generation it would be for example Older Gen - Same Gen - Younger Gen and that youd choose which mon of the 3 from that. For type Maybe you get You can list a couple types or get mutiple guesses on the type to determine and maybe you can play around with the rules for a bit of it there. For Example: Guess one Fire type Yes - No - No, Guess two Steel No - No - Yes and on and on, or you could determienthem based on type. Height and Weight sshould be explanitory, for example you guess Meowscarada than it be Taller/Heavier - Same/Same - Smaller/Lighter.

A fun way to play blissey: have 252 evs on both hp and def with counter, soft boiled, seismic toss and protect/toxic/stealth rock/ shadow ball then have a nature with +def -spd with chopple berry . It will literally obliterate any u-turning pokemon with decend attack or an unboosted fighting type that’s about to use cc or any fighting move with counter.

Here's an idea. 10 minutes to catch a full team of 6. Flip a coin to determine if each pokemon get a single or dual type. Then spin the wheel to determine the types. Then battle.

How about an option on the wheel that is "No Pokemon" So you would be down a Pokemon against your opponent. Could end up with a 6 Vs 5 or if you got it multiple times say 6 vs 3 or 4 vs 2 or so on
