I'm 47 and I'm so so thankful that my mother saved all my barbie stuff. Plus some of the dolls she had. I'm still a collector. I have more expensive dolls. But my older Barbies and the accessories and houses and playing in boat and cars and all of that stuff is still one of my.. favorite. I have this cat fluff.. she was one of my favorites..

The prettiest toy cats that i have are the older rement cats and I have purchased several Schleich cats for my doll displays in the last couple years. They are a great size and nicely detailed.

Omg! I totally forgot about that older Barbie cat! My sister chased down every cat she ever saw everywhere we ever went. She had this Barvie cat when we were little. Those poison green eyes...wow! So cool to see Fluff.

Love this video ❤ I’ve had several fluff sets pass through my hands and the bed cushion was. Never. There. It’s commonly lost I’m afraid :/ I’ve also never come across a fluff in as nice condition as yours! You’ve inspired me to maybe keep the next one 😂 Love that pony 🌈 MLP collectors were super excited to finally be able to get that long lost pony when HQG1C decided to make it!

My favorite toy cat was a Kenner LPS I had as a child. It was a set that came with a mother and five babies. It had a bed, food dish, yarn, scratch post and a little play board that had a kitchen floor sticker with spilled milk and foot prints and the other side was a litter box. Of the kittens my favorite was the little guy sitting on his butt and holding his feet in his paws. I was lucky enough to find the set complete as an adult and it brings me so much joy!

That Juku Couture doll was a lucky find! The earlier release ones are a lot harder to get than the later release ones, and the faces are drastically different in the later releases.

My god the flocked cat reminded me of something, in like the early 2000s there was this brand of blind bag toys that was SUPER popular in Italy (idk if they made it anywhere else in europe or outside ) that were like. Little flocked animals and the first few lines were normal like various breeds of cats and dogs and such, which then evolved to like. Woodland creatures like deer racoons etc (again fairly normal for a flocked toy) and then they just kept getting more perplexing like i had a bunch from some zoo series that had a flocked cobra, rhino and chameleon among others. One of the last lines that i'm aware of was sea creatures themed and i only have one from that but it's. A flocked LOBSTER

@@xCanadensis YEAH it's the in my pocket line! I never knew what they were called outside of here! The ones i have were specifically the blind bag ones which were cheaper but i know they exist as little playsets too... It seems like the non-blind bag line with the ocean creatures was called "ocean in my pocket" while the blind bag ones were "sea in my pocket" or something? Genuinely perplexing toys but i loved them so much and still have most of mine except for the ones that my cousins stole. From a cursory look apparently they sold playsets of like mama animal and her babies and there's one of those of like a crab family... They were genuinely so wretched looking but sooo charming to me

I had fluff the cat as a kid. Still have her. And the white afghan hound too. Prince I think, I forget the name of the dog. They were around the same time.

Kelsey and the Closet talked about Juku Couture dolls in a video more recently, but years ago I discovered them on the Toybox Philosopher blog. I used to really want one new in box but couldn't find good prices. It seems like a pretty nice doll line. My favorite pet figures are the realistic ones from JXK but I'm more into the animals as the dolls.

Random comment but I saw your Extra Iconic Dream Ella doll in the background and wanted to make you aware they released a "budget line" of those dolls at Dollar General. They're $15 and are not articulated. Dream Ella has a furry vest instead of a jacket lol and they have less accessories.
