shelly being calm and having a more mature voice is oddly relaxing for some reason

I love the family picture is Sharon and Stan being depressed and done with everything; Shelly being pissed, and Randy completely unfazed by his family's complete disdain with him and his impulsive bullshit. I'm surprised that they haven't sperated the family from him yet; they definitely toyed around with the idea of him being gone and the whole family celebrating it- but they haven't driven that division all the way through yet.

If “Karen” is for women, then a man acting like a “Karen” should be called a “Randy”

How ironic would it be if Kyle's Mom, Sheila, called Randy a "Karen"?

Everybody wants respect. It's just that respect cannot be given or taken. It has to be earned by following the golden rule where you're supposed to treat other people the same way you want to be treated. Randy seems more interested in expecting everyone else to kiss his ass by showering him with special treatment because he thinks he's entitled to getting his way all the time. And that's what makes him a Karen.

This episode was actually correct when they said that Colorado is in a statewide drought due to lack of snowfall. I live in Colorado Springs and during the past two decades we’ve had record droughts due to lack of both rain AND snow. The water restrictions they implied in the show have actually happened in the past, where we were only allowed to water on certain days and you could be arrested for watering on days you weren’t allowed, but those have been “on and off” throughout the years. Currently we’re not in that severe of a drought. A few years ago we were in a restriction where our water was measured in stages and if we went over a certain stage we were paid a HUGE fine. The reason for all this is because other states do use our water, like they said in the episode. For a show that pretty much roasts everything, you’d be surprised at how many things they are actually correct on!

I think Kyle’s mom suits this role since she’s the Karen of South Park

Corporations created the Karen meme because they realized that the average IQ of their employees is dropping like flies in a cloud of Raid. They want you to be afraid to complain about their awful service.
