That is exactly what I felt. His eyes were haunted and afraid by the end of his stint with The Eagles. The early Eagles pictures show four happy guys; possibly friends. Later ones show two sets of dead eyes, one set of angry and one afraid (Randy's was the latter.) He was better off out and happy here (even if for a short time).

He must have been desperately unhappy whilst playing with Eagles,his eyes were closed singing Take it to the Limit, which was always outstanding and show cased his voice, now he’s having fun smiling that beautiful smile and joking around. I get sad when I think of his latter years of life, still he gave us so much joy when he was well. Fly high Golden Eagle, you were simply the very best ❤️ I will continue to watch him for the rest of my life.

O.K. Leave Richards out of it. Seriously, he's been through enough. Here's the point: Randy Meisner was good here, better than Glenn fucking Frey anyway. If Randy had stuck to his guns, he could've made Frey look like the douche he apparently is. Between Irving, and Glenn, and quite possibly Don, Randy didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of having a successful solo career. And that bullshit of Walsh saying he wasn't alpha is garbage.

Joe Walsh is out for Joe Walsh. He & Don Felder left Randy high & dry when he wanted to confront G&D about more equality in the band. Then Felder got it in spades when he did the same thing & got fired. Walsh has always just been on a paycheck & he likes it that way. Randy has said in many interviews that he had gone past all that. He was a millionaire when he left the band and still is. Unfortunately many years of self medication harmed his health and we haven't heard a word from his conservators in 2 years. Randy might want his privacy & wants to keep a low profile. I just hope he's ok.

@@JTRocks4Ever Karma hit Felder. When he got fired Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt left Felder high and dry. They don't even speak to him. Joe Walsh did not say Randy was not an Alpha. I heard Joe Walsh. He said Randy is an Alpha but Randy did not recognize it. I heard Walsh say that.
