Randy Moss was emotional after receiving a standing ovation from New England fans during Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony. #nfl #patriots #newenglandpatriots #randymoss
Zero rings with the patriots but the fans recognize greatness! So many amazing memories in that 16-0 season with Randy. A true patriot in every sense of the word
I mean, I really wish he would have wanted chip Back then I hated the Patriots lol I'm a Baltimore Ravens guy so you probably know why lmao. But moss was him. I know Jerry Rice gets all the credit in the world ... But dude has his own word, his own catch, when you moss somebody you know what I'm saying. Back in the day I remember I used to argue with the older people saying it's not called a rice it's called a moss lmao
@@itsmoosietime2292 I live 5 minutes from Gillette. I can tell you the top hated fan bases here, Giants, Colts, Ravens, maybe the jets depending on the day..
@@BoxingNow lol yeah I live right next to m&T. Been to Gillette for the AFC championship. Pretty sure we won the super bowl that year. Lol. Think we're two and two against the Patriots. But you know as I got older I have nothing but respect for Brady. It's not easy staying in shape and having that passion.
@@BoxingNow I would think you guys hate the Jets a little bit more but I don't know. Rivals here are serious the browns Steelers and Bengals are all in our division and they are some crazy games, I'm sure Kansas City is going to be added to the list lol. Well see what drake Maye will do. But you got 20 years out of Brady basically what a run. I have no problem saying he's the goat. I also think Moses the goat. Lol.
@@Mike-DMackFLAby halftime of that SB Moss should've had at least a dozen receptions for a 100+yds and a couple tds, the Patsies waited til the game was in jeopardy to try and throw it to Moss with just a minute left. They wasted the greatest season ever by a receiver.
I was in that crowd. The love for Randy could be felt throughout the whole stadium. He made a lot of grown men she’d a tear or two that night, myself included.
@@jumpforjoy6is that it? You did an exit poll? Oh yeah. Thats why Wes Welker came out and raised his hands showing no rings, the building shook and the crowd started chanting NO RINGS for Welker. Pats fans love their no Lombardi trophy guys the best
@@billyd5317 actually 18-0 when we faced the NY horseshoe Giants. That loss was heartbreaking and gut wrenching. Literally minutes away from locking up the title as the best team in professional sports history. That loss stung. Hats off to the giants and their fans they never quit and kept coming.
@@meycoethe Patsies should've been throwing early and often to Randy Moss, they kept trying to throw early to those short wideouts and kept slightly overthrowing intended targets: Edelman, Welker, Woodhead etc,...
@@toddcann2407 there were a few Hall of Fame cornerbacks that gave Jerry Rice a hard time. And God didn't make a man who could cover Randy Moss one-on-one.
I was 100 ft. Away from him when this happened, and still can’t stop watching. I love that that happened for him. I’m sure Tom didn’t mind. He needed that from us. He was amazing! We love you Randy!
Growing up Randy Moss was what it meant to be a receiver. We literally used his name as a verb for making a “you got mossed” type of catch. Much deserved Legend.
We never wanted this dream to end, but with this ceremony, our Patriots have come full circle. It was a fun ride for those two decades. I’ll never forget the greats, and trust me, there were a lot of them.
Spurs fans and Patriots fans have a lot in common. We dominated in our sport for 20yrs and won multiple championships. We watched different role players come into our system and help make a difference. They will forever be in our hearts. But all great things come to an end eventually, and we saw our players retire one by one. It's sad to see it end, but those memories and joy they gave us will last forever. Thank you ❤
I remember when the news broke that Randy was going to be a Patriot… I wasn’t even a Pats fan and I told myself there was no way I was going to miss watching a single game that season. As a football fan, I knew we were in for one hell of a show.
@@michaelrfalkowski2446No, if you didnt show up in the big games you cant be the best. Rice did, T.O. did, Calvin aint make it because he had one of the worst teams in history statistically but wouldve played better than moss thats for sure. I love moss and he was definitely something worth watching growing up, but you gotta be able to do it all mostly in the big games. He disappeared in both
As a Pats fan, I wish they got him one ring, but he’s always a legend, and for many people, the most skilled receiver of all time. And even when he’s in sports media with many New Yorkers, he doesn’t disrespect or talk down on Belichick, Brady, or the Patriots. He deserved the standing ovation.
I remember i was at the game when he came back as a Viking and myself and a couple hundred fans stayed, we rushed down to the front row and gave him a Roaring ovation in front of the ESPN cameras before he ran into the tunnel. He saluted us! It made sports center that night, ill never forget it! GLAD he finally got the recognition he deserved for that perfect season!
I would bet my last dollar that the love being shown to Randy Moss by these fans at this moment, showing their appreciation . Is a feeling that only an athlete can feel, understand and reciprocate it in kind by his own tears of appreciation . What a evening that must've been.
He’s is One of the best of all time to the very least Top 5 in my opinion and with no rings randy doesn’t need the ring for people to know how good he was I’m sure many people can agree
Randy was GREAT. Tom may be the GOAT but Randy’s GREATNESS can never be overstated. It was truly magnificent to watch Randy play football and we were all fortunate to experience it!
I was a 13 year old kid in 07, I would root for my home team, but never paid much attention to football. Randy Moss and Tom Brady made me fall in love with the sport.
