@@juhabeck Yes it remains their most popular album to date due to time only. The album didn't sell well due to Capitol suppressing it in 89. The crimson Idol did come back in sales due to the tour.

HC didn't go Gold in the US. Some Hit Parader interview Blackie said around 400,000 copies. Short of gold. Probably sold better outside of the US; they did well in Europe and other areas. Crimson Idol didn't chart in the US. I check with Wikipedia. They are usually correct. TY

@@jiverdude2775 Yes! They did great outside of the US for decades. Now theyre back with their first US Tour in god knows how long and its completely sold out. Theyre playing big theaters as well.

Not entirely true man, Chris is much more technical thus talented in my book. However you are right about him being a yes man. Sadly he's paying for that mistake ever since.

Yeah but it didnt help that Chris couldnt read or write, and was always drunk. He made himself vulnerable to the vultures in the music industry. Blackie helped him out the best he could but when people don't want to get help or become better, they become a weight that will cause you to drown as well. Ever try to save someone who was drowning but that person doesnt know how to swim? And while youre helping that person get to shore, theyre pulling you down under the water, and making it 2x difficult???

I also have friends and relatives who have sold millions of albums and toured the world, but I don't need to try to make myself sound more important because I know them.
