There's 0% they're collecting as much in tickets as his salary, benefits, training, upkeep, and depreciation on that canam.

They are ramping up efforts in all county departments to raise revenue via fines and tickets. My neighborhood is very rural and the county has been hassling all of us about not keeping our properties up to their HOA standards. If we wanted HOA standards, we would not have moved out here. I did the math at a recent hearing where they were fining people and it amounts to about $5.5 million per year in raised revenue. It was a kangaroo court and money raising scheme.

No because they have emissions. Ohv dont have emissions so they take your money with that sticker instead.

You can get an OHV only plate. I have a pw50 only used on private land and get hassled about it being in the bed of my truck. They just want the money. I think it's $10/yr for the sticker and the plate was a one time thing for like 25$ when you get the title.

Some states require club membership on top of registration for snowmobiling. Reg in Canada is the same and to be honest it’s made things better. Getting hit by someone and they have no reg/insurance/ I’d and the cost of new machines is an issue. We sadly can’t be responsible enough not to do this anymore

It depends on where you're at - my state has required them for decades. Do I enjoy that? Of course not. Am I stuck with it? Yup, I am.

No they don't. The jeep tours patrol and report stuff all the time. It's clogged up enough already without a logjam of cops doing a stop and search on every vehicle passing through. At least when you go to the lake and gfd tries to look for life vests, you can tell them to piss off. 😂
