Great video. Going to attempt this now you’ve given me the confidence to try. Couple of clarifying questions 1. How did you trip the shaft in the vice to remove the drive shaft from the pump? 2. What is in the yellow bottle you use when installing new seals in the pump? Thanks again
A very useful video. The hood of my car falls down despite having installed new gas shock absorbers, and they are from the original factory reference, do you have any idea what the problem could be? Thank you.
Hi just watched your video I have to do the same today and this is the most in-depth video I could find !! Do when you removed the cover with the 17mm Allen key socket is there a nut under neath this ?? You said it was a 21mm is this holding the pump on ??
Hi mate, Really helpful video, I think I might need to do this on mine, got low fuel pressure on rail bled all the injectors and the car won't start. inpa gave me a fault that i can not clear, when cranking fuel came out of the filter. Same engine M57 is the service kit for the pump expensive.
@@antoncarweb5070Thanks mate, I've just fitted a new solenoid at the HPP, no fuel getting to fuel rail, but when trying to start with inlet manifold off the only cylinder that is attempting to fire is NO 2, Number 2 was lowest reading in compression test which leads me to believe is the reason why my car broke down and refuses to start. It cranks fine. After cranking i could hear the injector no2 spitting fuel into to cylinder until the pressure dropped off.
Hi friend. Thanks for the video is helpful. I have a question How did you diagnose that the high pressure diesel pump was the problem? I think I have to do the same, my car turned off on the road and then it doesn't want to start. Greetings
