RR Sport 2013 onwards side step installation. This can be tricky but hopefully this video gives you an insight on whats involved. I have posted the video on the passenger side installation as this is the more difficult out of the two. Please follow the same instructions for the driver side. The driver side doesn’t have the brake lines going through them so it is generally easier. The car is a 2016 RR Sport Right Hand Drive. Thanks for watching! And good luck!

I have installed side steps and this is a very good video as a guide, one side I did removing the the underbody cover, the other side without. It can be installed without removing the cover, it is possible to install the brackets just by lowering the cover o the side you are working on, this saved me a lot of time, just note you will make the cut an inch or two more which is the only downside.

Hello so did you just cut the cover while still on car which bolts did you undo to loosen cover could you take a photo of what it looks like many thanks

Thanks for the video, I have just bought this kit and wasn’t sure about the bracket fouling on the fuel lines. Looks like it was a case of just unscrewing the fuel line fixing bracket and then wedging the step bracket underneath?

Hi Adam, You shouldn’t have to unscrew the fuel lines at all.. i did do it a while a go and i think i slid it underneath and the screwed it in. let me know if you get stuck on anything.

@@adminm7537 thanks pal, had another go this afternoon and still struggling. The small black bracket with the two pipes running through do you recall completely disconnecting that from the chassis as it seems to get in the way of the step bracket lining up with the 3rd bolt

Hi mate.. could the plastic be cut without taking it off and the brackets fitted. Thanks

Hi there, thank you for your question. Unfortunately you have to take off the plastic as this goes all the way around the car. Also, some parts of the plastic goes along the front which cannot be cut whilst on the vehicle as it may damage the bottom of the side skirts. Kind regards,

Can you tell me if you can still jack the car up from the jacking points or do they get covered by the fixed side steps

Hi Rauf, There should be still some space on the side for you to jack up. I’ve had several tyre changes since my side steps have been fitted and i’ve incurred no issues so far…
