I have a ram and I have an exhaust, 90mm throttle body, cold air intake and RIPP Coilpacks and I can feel the MDS kick the cylinders off and when I floor even tho with the little things I have done to the truck it takes a split second and I always drive it in tow/haul with traction control off
Yeah, it’s the only thing about the device I don’t like. The Chevrolet version is truly plug and play, no starting sequence. But with the ram you have to go through the 1 second per key position, before starting. If you get the sequence right it works like a charm.
I bought mine directly from Range Technology. The last time I checked their website it did not show them offering the unit anymore. You might want to contact them directly and see what they have to offer.
I bought it a few years ago. I’m not surprised they stopped making them for the Dodge trucks. They were some what of a nuisance, due to the manner in which you had to start the vehicle, if you did not get it just right it wouldn’t work. When it did work it was a great feature to have.
I’ve not tried that. My guess is it wouldn’t work. GM is plug and play (no starting sequence) Ram has a starting sequence that must be followed when starting the vehicle with the Range Tech installed, in order for the device to work.
