Some gameplay from a few streams back where I tackled matchmaking with my good buddy SwanSong.
You rarely see some Revenant and Pain Elemental combined so I thought it'd be neat to upload some GG's.

That slayer was really good, he adapted his playstyle to the situation, but it's hard against two coordinated demons

This is how Battlemode should be played, high intensity gameplay. Every time I hear someone says it's boring is believe that they are a bad player on either side

@@ScarletSenjin closest thing to a melee demon would be the Mancubus really. you could even go as far as saying he fits the role fairly well

Very true. I think its because people are so used to simple aiming and BRs and basic arena multiplayer that they're not sure what to do in Battlemode. So far, it's been a surprisingly fun and smart multiplayer, im literally obsessed wit it.

Great play there, your movement and tracking is exellent, and Swan is almost unstoppable as the Pain Elemental. Amazing teamwork overall!

Honestly Marauder and pain elemental are a really strong team. So is Revenant and Mancubus.

I main revenant and 100% of the time i only use acrobat and rocket barrage upgrade, and it seems to be the best options

Same here excepi sometimes use tactician over unstable trigger. Sometimes the damage reduction and heal are too valuable if you can't get hit

@@PNDKM Don't forget tactician also buffs your loot block. You really notice it in drawn out battles of attrition.

I do that too. Especially Acrobat. You can't escape a Slayer how move well without it.

I would never call this mode boring but it needs something almost like... More players? This would change the balance entirely but the idea of two slayers against 4 demons in an open map sounds like pure chaos and more fun to play imo.

Good plays, Im always more impressed by demon play than Slayer because he is so broken on PC.

The slayer is easier because you learn to play him during the campaign, he isn’t broken balancewise. Not that I’ve seen anyway.

the thing is, the guy should have figured out how to beat your ranged style, by going rockets with the detonation mod, and the ballistas sticky bomb. combined with the combats bombs would have made hiding behind cover kinda pointless. provided he knew you were hiding behind the thing.

But they do damage you; you just need to be able to withstand it, hence heal fields, tactician and teamheal. You also have to try to reduce the damage as much as possible, you want as many grazes and misses as possible when they are using the explosives. It does become a game of the slayer trying to conserve ammo while besieging the demon's position.

@@josephburchanowski4636 i was referring to aoe attacks mostly, if you pepper a demon they might end up having to reposition, though staying behind cover will still get you nailed with splash, you wont get nailed by direct ballista and such

Yo ive been playing Revenant a lot too. Something strong you can do is on round 4+ get Demonic Onslaught and combo it with unstaple trigger too get like a 100 dmg combo. It is such an underrated endgame perk.

The only reason I don't SUPER wanna dedicate is that if you miss or don't kill with that, you're out of what could be a vital tool elsewhere if you use somethng like double team heal. Demonic Onslaught is very all or nothing. A good Barrage combo can get over 90 damage base anyway, even without UT!

I think Demonic Onslaught would work wonders on a mancubus. Pop double haste and DO while the slayer is looking at your teammate, then bullrush him with super damage.

REALLY good on some maps, not so hot on others. Mancubus doesn't like maps that are too out in the open, but if you're synced up, it's trap and burst potential that's almost totally unmatched

I can deal with Pain Elementals. Even annoying ones. But Revenants that dodge like that? Gg. I'd have to kill him first to have any chance to win the match

07:51 what do people think about keeping the heal until the next spawn, getting back to full life from half way instead of trying to stay alive. Kind of like keeping you EX bar back in SF etc? Major props here you guys are amazing at this game. Seems a big cross over if you like FGs then you like hard FPSs

Does loading the level always kinda get stuck at 91% on your computer?

it was there in doom 2016 as well, specifically when playing the campaign on offline mode for steam. it would sit there for a minute or two and shoot right up to loading the game.

I know this video was made a year ago and I'm probably not gonna get a response but I wonder I'm on console PS4 to be specific , And instead of acrobatic,I have a perk called (sadest) Which Boosts the Damage of my twin rockets when I am low on health is that a change that Is happened to every platform or did that just happen to PS4 or console. What I'm trying to say is there is no acrobatic for me.
