Jefte was great, Barron such a difference maker. Dessers has scored 3 in 4 (can’t argue tbh). And our attacking play was nice but it’s a joke how little we convert, although Danilo will take awhile for sharpness! Tav had me absolutely fizzing mad in the first half though I just can’t get on board with him this season but I’ll back the team and gaffer, I appreciate his love for the club and mission to unite the fans and players. Being optimistic, if we have the stadium parts and get into ibrox as planned for end of September, next week against Ross County could be our last “”home”” game at Hampden. Let’s pray 🫠

Dessers has to play, like the big man or not, he always puts a shift in. There were a few little signs of improvement today. Barron yet again looked really good when he came on. A win is a win , boosts confidence,a clean sheet into the next round. Let’s move on and on to the next game.

For me Barron was the difference today, just shows we have young talent that play in Scotland and he knows the game.

Good to see Matondo come onto a game too. People forget how young he is. Clements signings look good. Jefte, barron, Cerny, Proper. They need some time to really get onto their game and get match fit. Concerning about our I jury list growing again. Concerning about attendance. But... We are not as bad as people make out. Plus the window is still open to bring a few players in and get rid of a few. Keep the faith.

Good one Cj, but the obvious differences in the two plays from last year and this year. One was a Trip, and Today Dessers hod his his foot stood on by the defender. When the Defender felt Contact he dropped like he was playing in the Seria A league!!! lol. Left Dessers all alone to beat a CB and the keeper from 10 yards out. Over all they deserved to win, Big improvement from just weeks ago. Chemistry is building.

Once again CJ you are spot on, if we can't be happy with a 2 - 0 win then what's the point of supporting our (or any) team? Whilst being happy at winning we cannot just paper over the cracks that are blatantly and obviously there. Butland, to be honest he didn't have a lot to do. Taverneir, was, for the most part, once again a BOMB SCARE. Ball over the top of him and he's f*cked and so it proved. Weak in the tackle as we saw for the incident you mentioned, when all he had to do was stand within 1 yardb of the player and that asks the question "what are you gong to do now"? but with the half hearted tackle he did, he risked giving away a penalty. I want to see Sterling taking on the RB role and the captaincy going to Butland. If we play Taverneir against Celtic then you don't need a crystal ball, as we all KNOW what's going to happen down that side. Soutar, credit where it's due, i thought big soapy had a decent game with one crucial block coming immediately to mind. Propper, was solid for the time he was on the park and according to the manager, it might not be as serious as a groin strain so fingers crossed on that front as we will need him in the coming weeks and months. Jefte, i thought the lad played well and linked up with Matondo really well. Sterling, whilst he played ok, it was not the Sterling we are used to but he's another who has been out injured and is making his way back into the team. Fraser, showed some promising work down the left and put in a nice ball for Dessers. McCausland, i thought he did really well and was keen to get the ball and run at their defence. He took his goal REALLY WELL with a lovely little dink over the keeper. Dessers, again, credit where it is due. After his really poor game on Tuesday, he really looked up for this one. As well as he took his goal I'm stunned that their player fell for the fake shot and i just wish Dessers would vary what he does with the ball but all in all, scored one and assisted for the other, is not a bad 45 minutes worth. Manager In his press conference on Friday, he confirmed thar we cannot buy any players unless others leave and they are just not going. So DROP them and if needs be, play B team/youth players. Again if you are good enough, you are old enough. Name and shame those who are refusing to go because they are nothing more than leeches in my opinion. In his press conference after the game yesterday, Phil alluded to the lack of fans at the game mentioning that for many they don't want to go to hamdump and also appreciates that some are not happy with how we are playing. So at least he recognises that and isn't just putting down the low crowds to it not being at Ibrox. So overall, delighted to get the win in a game that, pre match, i worried that we could be on the end of a defeat instead of a win. Everything in the garden is not rosy and we have to recognise that but a win is a win and it put a smile on my face.

Dessers is a Ted McMinn type, Clement got a 30 game run, so we give time, the media needs the hype so ramp up the negatives. We are where, we are not mega rich, the board are not super financed so doing okay. We know now that if we get to another Euro final then we sell them all and build a new team, thats what Clement is doing know. The Gerrard hangover has lasted long and they were mostly his players but give Clement a bit of time to drill the players and a few windows and he'll get us strong n smart. We all happy getting Gio n then Beale looked a steal so we cannot really moan much to the board. The season is long and I can see growth in some of the new players. The will settled and contribute!

I have no idea how far ahead we may be on the injury front compared to the rest of teams around us but we must be by far and away the worst off. Really liked to see the team in front of the Rangers end at the end of the match. One last point on a player that I am concerned about, who appears to be a persistent injury and that's RASKIN. Am not sure where he fits in and actually when he's fit if he's at a level to take us forward. Opposition play and counters just seem to flow through us far too easily. Think we need a midfielder with a real physical presence and can put his foot in. Anyway that's nit picking. Through to the next round. By the way, what happened to the supposed loan deal for Hanibal?? He can play and put his foot in.

there was some improvement today CJ positives were that rangers kept the hard running pressure on. created chance due to that.negatives were that some players dont seem to be able to see others in better positions. more quick passing around the box would get us more goals. Matondo was poor and tav needs to take every dead ball kick which makes us ultra predictable. inswinging corners are no use when our big men can only attack outswinging corners. happy we won in the end

Hopefully with Jim Gillespie coming in will make a difference at board level however until he shows what he brings to the table I am being cautious as I think Andrew McKinlay would have been a better acquisition but at least it’s a move to take Bennett out of full control.

Definitely positives from today. Dessers, Barron and Jefte all really good today. This team's confidence would really benefit from hammering a team! That coverage on Premier Spurt was hilarious today with Michael (Ah hate the Bears) Stewart arguing with himself over whether or not Dessers should have got the goal or had it chopped off because the ref thought it was a foul. Fuxake what a clown. Dessers and McCausland both finished well. There were some other bright spots. Danilo definitely was as rusty as a bike left out in the garden for a year. Hope he hets more chances to recover hit match fitness. Next job beat Ross County.
