Were you able to attend the METS versus Philadelphia two-game series @ my beloved West Ham United's London Stadium? Do you believe their will eventually be a market for baseball in GB, or Europe...??
I'n in Bermuda and can usually stay awake for the east coast games...but the highlights make for a great summary or even surprise! Ladt bight I drifted off after the 9th! Couldn't hang on any longer😅
@@stanfromwestport2024 unfortunately i didn’t manage to go as i was on holiday :( i do think there could be a market for baseball in mainland europe but maybe not the UK because there’s too much snobbery over cricket which is a shame
@@danbeard4854 I remember seeing a film about Joe DiMaggio and his visiting London and trying Cricket at the famous Lord's Cricket Ground - DiMaggio respected cricketers after that as he realized the game was difficult
Devers needs to get out of this slump. We're not pitching well and the offense was coming to our rescue - but lately the offense has sucked too. We got lucky in this game
Bello looked good tonight. It looks like the batters are trying too hard to kill the ball. Jansen has been a really good pick up. Sogard was a good call up. If they could just figure out the pitching the Sox would be dangerous.
Yup..Switched cameras at precisely the wrong moment...!! The only reason I knew it was a hit for sure is the a play-by-play announcer was on top of the play.
The bullpen was definitely a problem. But, we also couldn't HIT apparently... I already miss Duran and O'Neill. Devers is just unpredictable lately. And everytime Hamilton and Smith get on base, I'm like "let's have low expectations and see if they can hit". Although Smith has had a good week and a half.
I just got home from this game. Got standing area on the monster and some kids leaving early gave me and my dad front row monster seats. Walkoff was hit right towards us. Most incredible feeling ever.
To waste Brayan's impressive performance would have been tragic. As it was, that almost occurred as Sox bull pen woes continue. Will we ever get three scoreless 7th, 8th & 9th innings again this season...?? It is so bad that every time a reliever comes in, I expect to lose - an abject fear that is unfortunately wholly justified.
That's what I'm saying, a win against the defending Champs. They've beat some good teams and at times have been consistent enough to win multiple games in a row. Red Sox brass better get of there asses this off season and do something good for a red sox team that could be very special. This team had started out good and lasted as long as the could. Their nothing but a bunch of rookies and not enough veterans, all of them were traded away before the season started. If they care about baseball in boston, then help these guys win
Boston is so weird, trading a bunch of prospects for a catcher on an expiring deal, and then call up 2 catchers anyway? I'm sure there's method to the madness, but the Danny Jansen trade still is so odd to me.
