good to see hurricanes get back BLACK colour in their jersey, very disappointed with devils jersey. those stripes on the sleeves make it absolutely different jersey, it's more like devils farm club jersey than NJD's one

lol :D it's not ugly, definitely not, but it's devils jersey, go check their history. they only changed one detail, switched from green to black in 92-93, and some stripes(very slight difference) in 2007 when reebok came. that's it. devils always kept their tradition and kept their jersey almost unchanged, and adidas fucked it up completely. so all the people who don't like this new devils jersey aren't creative and intellectual? :D and you're? just because you like it?

turarosicky As a Devils fan, I don't think they're bad or anything, but that they will take some getting used too. Like you said, they've had the same design since 1992, so many fans (including myself) are used to that design and felt that the tradition should continue of having the same design. I like that they tried to take a modern approach to the jersey, but I feel that they should have kept the stripes by the waist (I feel the front looks too empty without them) and make the white stripes on the sleeves slightly skinnier.

Carolina absolutely killed it. Their last jersey update completely killed everything that gave the Canes a unique identity. Both were bad, but the homes especially so. They need black, and it is so great to see the warning flags back. Probably my favourite of the updated sets, with Colorado and Minnesota not far behind. I also really like Vegas's jersey (especially the home) which seems to be an extremely unpopular opinion. I think the red stripe is 100% necessary, it really pops and breaks up the monotony of black and grey. They have a small red accent in their secondary logo on the shoulders, so it's not like it's out of nowhere. I actually kind of want to pick one up.

i dont get ur whning, may because i am from europe, but its helping the team to stay financially well, teams like arizona really need it and trust me, if there not pinned on the jersey, moreover build in the jersey some actually look cooler, imo. I give you a link to check outhow it can be done: shop.hannover-indians.de/ this is by far a nicer jersey than really much in the nhl or in generell in nth america, imo ofc. It’s an mashup of past jerseys. The logo on the shoulders is a nod to the 20’s. The block B is a nod to the 30’s. The spokes have been there since the 40’s. The shoulders are from the 60’s and early 70’s.

I was surprised to see Calgary so low. I like them and love the colors. I'm glad Buffalo stayed with the navy blue. Agree with the Preds ranking and feel Florida could be down there as well.They looked so much better with the old colors. The panther with the broken stick was my favorite

Im a huge Devils fan and i can honestly say im not a fan of our jersey. It just looks too plain to me. Its gunna take some time getting used to i guess. And they did incorporate some green on the inside collar with the cup years.

The red in the Vegas uni is in homage to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area as the mountains in it have a red tinge to them.

I didn't like the grey for the Knights but the V and the Helmet was cool . Not crazy about the Wild it's great around Christmas time . Pens fan back to back cups about killed off the older fans with heart attacks . Fleury was huge part of the Pens not just great player but on and off the ice is a great guy and I'll tell ya he will be missed . Hope Vegas treats him good .

I think I appreciate simplicity because I'm european, and here the entire sweater covered with sponsor badges. Most of the teams don't even use crests. So, when I see less stripes, no secondary logos, and no fckng ads on a jersey, I'm happy. My Wings dressed by far the best in the NHL, in my opinion.

lol what? are they similar? Yes. The strong bar in the center of the body and arms is similar. But it's not a copy at all. The leafs centennial jersey is almost a photo copy of the Habs jersey that they've used forever

For our jersey, I was actually nervous because I was praying they didnt make any changes because messing with tradition really pisses people off. Keep our sweaters the way they are, they look great. I just wish we would wear our white jerseys at home again.

Love the concept of this video! Perfect for hockey geeks like me -- LOL. Hey, obviously you're going to have some disagreement with such a subjective topic. FWIW, here are a few bits of one guy's feedback (i.e. mine). Much agreement, TDI, but here is where you and I differ the most: - I LOVE the Vancouver jersey! Gorgeous hues of blue & green (my two favorite colors, which you don't see together that often); in fact my top three would be the Canucks, the Sharks (loving the teal and great logo), and my Avalanche (honestly NOT b/c they're my team). - Dude, take it from a lifelong Denver Broncos fan, orange has to be the WORST color to try and incorporate into a sports jersey! What the Flyers have accomplished in this regard is even better than you gave them credit for. Lovely, w/the white sleeves and the excellent nameplate. What more could you ask for (if you have to use orange)? Unlike you, Philly's is my favorite look among those forced to work with this color. - Teams whose jersey you like quite a bit better than I do: NYI, AZ, Carolina, Anaheim, and yes, even Vegas. - You picked the Preds for the bottom of the list. I don't like it either, but IMO the Oil sweater rivals it. Orange bomb, with cheap Halloween candy accents! LOL - One tiny note: I believe you said that the Panthers' jerseys only had #'s on the back, but there is also one on the upper right shoulder. Take care, and keep up the creativity. :)

The red in the knights jersey is to pay tribute to the Las Vegas Wranglers. The compass as well came from the wranglers and the knights just added swords.

I'm sure you know this by now but the secondary logo on the shoulder of the Golden Knights are clashing swords not a compass, though I can see how it might look like a compass at first blush.

Why did they move the secondary logo to the shoulders? Maybe ads in that space? I hope not. For example, look at the CAPS jersey and where the eagle is and now it's on top of the shoulders. My favorite is the CAPS and least favorite is Nashville.

Preds jersey is just fine. it looks like a classic no clutter jersey, the best kind. I see that you like jerseys being more 'busy' but design wise the simpler the better. clean effective simple designs will all the time.

Love that the Avs finally went back to the mountain range classic look. Also, the Hurricanes new jerseys are absolutely beautiful. After the additions that they have made in this offseason, I am extremely intrigued to seeing how they will do this upcoming season.

Haha love this kind of stuff. I'm a nerd for jerseys goal horns and goal songs. Wish they would bring back old school goal songs. Like if the Sabres score they should play the sabre dance song or when the whalers played brass bonanza.
