I like how zombizou could have won if she just waited for her Mindless Kissing Zombies to attack Ladybug SERIOUS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THAT EASY

Another thing you could do with Reverser’s power is shifting them from hating you to being loyal to you and then just asking them to hand over their miraculous. Or you could reverse them from wanting to keep their miraculous to wanting to renounce it and then you just swipe it.

Wanna know who my favourites are? 1. Prime Queen Her motives are clear and whenever I watch her episode I feel like I’m watching the Ring whenever she steps out of TV screens. Also her design is pleasing to me as well. 2. Zombizou Zombizou’s akumatisation wasn’t instant and the victim actually resisted. No pun intended, I love how easily that she can make her own kissing zombie army that can easily overwhelm the heroes and I also love her design based on a voodoo doll. 3. Befana Like her design and she’s also a myth in Italian folklore. Like her brainwash abilities to make nice people her fairies and nasty people into coal.

If Miraculous were a more mature show, and Gabriel were more unhinged (I mean he almost started WWIII so he might be willing to do this), he could have used one of these mind-controlling villains like Malediktator to threaten a mass suicide of Parisians if the heroes don’t have over their Miraculous, then tell the villain to go into hiding or hide his akumatized object.

I'm just thinking but Reverser should be higher on the list, theoretically he could reverse the hero's love for the city. Basically making it so that they don't give a damn and would just hand over their miraculous (kinda like Simpleman but better)

I definitely would've had Dark Owl higher, since even without being Bruce Wayne, he was able to capture and corner both heroes with relative ease, only really losing due to plot convenience. And for that matter, even after the plot convenience loss, he was still able to get ahold of Ladybug and almost got her miraculous off, meaning that not only does he have all the gear, but isn't really lacking in the physical department either. And while I know that Collector is so low due to how you were rating them, I'd actually count him as one of the more successful villains, given that his whole purpose was to ensure Ladybug and Chat Noir didn't suspect Gabe as Hawkmoth at all, an actually pretty smart move. I'd probably rank the Sapotis lower since while they are an army in a can, they also didn't do much to overwhelm the heroes directly, instead just causing general mischief around the city.

I definitely enjoy Felix in the villain role, even tho he is not in the series as much as others

IDK but with reverser I would add that he has the hability of literally creating souces of destruction if he wanted, this to only to extort the heroes to get what he wants, he could make all the Paris people to commit crime, make them a huge ball of rage. He in fact did get confident to quick but he almost made a massive meteor shower dinasur style to get his point straight, he don't care about the well being of other people he almost got his own objective and hawks objective by weaken the heroes, he is great to my personal taste

I heavily agree ! Catalyst has a well deserving spot in this list and I don’t understand much on how she lost either, that plan has to be Gabriel’s most big brain moment and this is Gabriel we’re talking about. However I do think Troublemaker should’ve been a point higher , maybe a swap with Befana - I completely understand why she was put there though Another thing I fully agree on is that statement with Style Queen , she’s powerful if you want to murder people not take jewelry.

Robustus really did almost win the Miraculous to turn himself into a real boy, and I love him for that. I'm surprised the villains tried to bring him back in S4 in Hack-San considering he almost won and flat out betrayed Hawkmoth. Catalyst of course ranks so high because she's Nathalie, and Nathalie is the most competent villain up until Nathalie gets too sick to do anything in s4. I'm just glad Reverser ranked on the higher end. His power set is unique, his design is great, and he was only defeated because he was very gay and wanted Nathaniel all to himself. Iconic villain.

You're right about Style Queen. That's probably why Gabriel chose her to cause chaos and panic for Optigami.

I think the Collector can take just one thing at a time from his book. Like in the end it filled his book with CDs, I think that if he wanted he could have taken out just one out. Same with the heroes, their costume can't be taken down, it's almost part of them, but the miraculouses are separate things, so he could just taken them separatly. None the less, the Collector wasn't meant to take the miraculouses, he knew he would get defeated, it was only to not be suspected as Hawkmoth

The main one I disagree with is troublemaker or just penny specifically because she was close to getting Ladybug’s miraculous three or more times. Ladybug was this close to detransforming and her face was exposed. She did what no one was close to doing.

I get the feeling akumatizing Bruce Wayne would backfire as it isn't Starro level mind control. He will fight for control and might even gather clues who Hawk Moth is.

I watched Gigantitan last night🤣 Honestly it is one of my favourite season 2 episodes, between the disaster of an adrienette heist with marinette and her friends, and then hawkmoth losing his sanity over a literal infant, I found it fairly hilarious.

Every time he says "Hell yeah", I feel like high-fiving someone! Him saying that just gives off that vibe.

The big problem with akumas is that they’re either to powerful or completely useless. The show seems to go back and forth on whether or not HM can tailor pick the akumas powers or zero input and half the time their power aren’t even interesting.

Collector's purpose wasn't to get the miraculous like the other villains. His purpose was to prevent suspicion of Gabriel being Hawk Moth and he succeeded.

Robustus for his sheer competence(and the fact that he played Hawk Moth for information then quickly betrayed him in an awesome manner) and Troublemaker for nearly succeeding. Dark Owl isn't all that bad either, very rare for a villain to use comic book knowledge against the heroes.

6:35. Troublemaker and Dark Owl were ones of the few villans that managed to take one of Ladybug's earrings, they should be higher

I mean that's true about Sandboy but in the context of the show it was one of the dumbest episodes. Ladybug's nightmare is that her powers don't work but it doesn't instantly detransform her? Chat Noir's nightmare is a Ladybug who hates him. Sandboy basically creates a sentimonster before there were sentimonsters of Ladybug and then Ladybug can use the lucky charm to activate the Miraculous ladybug even though she has no powers? Bonkers silly

Heres an idea for a villain. Chaineling is the name and he can hypnotise people people to be his helper and has 2 gauntlets on his arms that shoot chains that can be very long and retracted and connect with his other chains. But his main abbility is he can stop up for a few seconds and the channel the powers of 2 of any akumatized villain. Is he too overpowered, if he did exist he should be one of the near end of season villains

I’m currently planning a fan rewrite of the series, and even though he’s in Trash tier, I’m keeping Gigantitan around for two reasons- Gabe’s reaction to the butterfly infecting the kid is hilarious, and to use him as a “training mission” for Rena Rouge and Carapace- one of my plans is for Rena, Carapace and Queen Bee to become permanent Miraculous holders post-Heroes Day, so more missions for them to tighten up the team cohesion and convince Fu it’s a good idea is needed- Gigantitan is just the first since their debut because he’s an easy akuma to beat

I think a cool Akuma/sentimonster would be someone called Mementotem. A giant monster that can summon replicas of past miraculous holders. They can only use their powers once before disappearing.

10:04 I feel like Reverser could’ve been op is he reversed the fact that they don’t wanna give Hawkmoth their miraculous, and make them instantly give up. But of course plot armor so he didn’t think of it

I’d love to see a fanfic about a random person that died during an akumatized attack and slowly realize they’re going insane bc of it bc they don’t remember

4:00 would that even work? The times Ladybug has brought people back to life has only been when the villain has *directly* used their powers on people. The yo-yo cleanses the Akumatized villain and their powers, and by proxy, people affected by the powers. If villain just pushes someone off a cliff, gravity kills them, not the powers. I don't think that Ladybug can reverse a law of nature/the universe, at least not on her own. Hostages are still a valuable tool, if any of the villains actually thought of using them

When I saw season 2 final I was like "Yes, Yes Gabe you will definitely win! and if you lost you can just do it over, akumtize different people with different supervillan power and it'd be a game over!" And I still don't know why he doesn't do it again, you are willing to akumtize Mr pigeon for 72 times and not doing this again? Come on Gabe~

Recently I have watched the episode Collector again and I noticed something. In one scene he collects a chair in his book and after he looked at it, he swiped it off the page. The page was blank again. So I don’t think that his space in the book is his weakness. He wanted Ladybug to believe it would be, so she would win and his identity would be secured. To be honest, Troublemaker is probably my favorite season 2 villain(Idk why I just think she’s pretty) but I agree with you, she should be able to pick up objects while untouchable and touchable, I overall love her because she’s just a straight up Powerhouse.

I have been thinking of a future of this show, where i am the new Shadow Moth after pretty much stealing his Miraculous’s, ever since first hearing about the title for the Season 4 Finale, hehehe.

What I like about this season is that more villains have personal weaknesses instead of weaknesses in their superpower. It was Glaciator's own choice not to shoot Ladybug and Cat Noir when they pretended to be in love.

Hawkmoth does great holiday themed villions. Very detailed and accurate in theme!

This makes me question if the miraculous are indestructible, how can they be turned into other substances or disappear? Cause there's a lot of villains who have the power to do this.

What's funny is the christmas special was the first miraculous thing I saw and was what got me into it, so I have nostalgia vision when looking back at that episode.

Catalyst, Malidictator and Sapotis. Step 1: Akumatize Nathalie then the mayor and the twins. Step 2: Have Malidictator bubble the Sapotis and relocate him to your base. Step 3: Overrun Paris with multiplying, centrally controlled gremlin strike teams. GG EZ.

Season 2 was honestly peak Miraculous.

I feel like shellshock would be really good for heroes and meaning to defeat them because in the episode Optigomi it shows carapace can shoot his ability to wherever he chooses therefore being able to shoot a shield at the heroes trapping them until they De transform or you get ready to snatch there miraculous

Minor correction: As said in the show the only thing thank can ever destroy a miraculous is the cat miraculous’s cataclysm so turning things into stone, gold, ice cream, ect. would not destroy the miraculous.

My favourite season 2 villain is Robostus

Gabriel/Hawk Moth clearly didn't want Cat Noir's Miraculous because if he did then Maledictator would have said hand over your miraculous but instead he made Cat Noir a cat because that's gonna help you defeat Ladybug

Question for about the times you bring up the villains transforming the heroes, and destroying/making unacessable the Miraculous': Would their power even work? I mean, the Miraculous' have god tier abilities, even considering their energy limitations. Heck, they can grant basically any wish when combined. Do you really think that they could be turned into ice cream by (in terms of magic artifacts, weaker) power given from another?

I love that Gigantitan was an accidental villain that Hawk Moth never intended to use but it happened 😂. Hawk Moth was hilarious in that episode

Anasi is by far my favorite villain. Kinda wish she had a better design suited for her Fighting Style, but that's just me. Still, i love her

S2 had really great villains concept, except most of them......could be used in more smarter ways or well....you couldn't have the heroes lose always, lol.

A good way to stop ladybug is to set up several villains and threaten to cause chaos everywhere unless they hand over the miraculous

Or Reverser can reverse you hating hawkmoth and love him, therefore making you want to give your miraculous.

Glaciator is one of my favourite episodes not only from season 2 but also from teh entire show...and since the villain wants that good we all know the reason why

About all the "HOW TO GET MIRACOULOUS" stuff im pretty sure they have the power to just send Gabriel with miraculous if they have there power around it. Example being Party Crasher because he had Ladybug and Cat Noir in his disco..... ball. And he managed to almost give Gabe the miraculous by sending a helicopter.

I just want to say that she's from season 3, so I hope you will cover her, but if the goal is getting the ladybug miraculous, Princess Justice is the best villain of all time.

I really wonder how his powers work, like does the powers need to be balanced or have a sort of weakness? I can get the powers he gives could be tied with what his victim feels (Risk for an example). Also, since he can akumatize himself into Collector, can he just transform himself into ScarletMoth, even give himself a better power to beat the villains easily? He has the motivation so why not? (I can't say give him a power to bring his dead wife, it might wore off if he gets de-akumatized)

If, say, the Miraculouses were immune to an Akuma's powers, it would make some sense that Hawkmoth keeps giving his Akumas the ability to turn people into coal/glitter/statues/etc. But no, the Miraculouses are transformed too, and Gabe is just a smooth-brain. [Edited for grammar]

I definitly would've put Style Queen and Frightningdale higher but maybe just Frightningdale as sure you can avoid becoming a staue, Frightningdale is definitly not trash tier. I'd say that she's OP in her own way and if she comes back in future Seasons where Gabe decides to give Frightningdale her own Sentimonster, she'd probably more scary then Style Queen.

I agree about catalyst cuz like - Ladybug and chatnoir in normal times can barely defeat one villain , So how does it make sense that they defeated the whole city?- Like sure there were 3 extra heroes but still that's just not believable 🥲
