Turns out not only Darkoath don't exist but also Rotmire Creed! Rotmire Creed are average in this format I think with only the one Bloated One though the Witherlord has some real good burst damage to him with the injection. I think that they've been outpaced somewhat by the newer teams so I'd be tempted to put them bottom of B-Tier.
Splintered Fang also got a really good battle trait, a free use of Poisoned Attacks each round, an ability that really allows them to do much better against high toughness opponents than their stats would suggest.
Well my Facebookguess before watching was: "1 KMK, 2 Iron Golems, 3 Vulkyn, 4 Questor, 5 Gorgers, 10: the rest! (Poor huanchis)". So close-ish! I think Taruntulos deserve the Vexmor rating though, and Untamed should be B!
Finally a video on one of the best formats of the game🙂 I hate allies they ruin the game for me as everybody just takes the strongest models so my group only plays one box format or 2 boxes but you can only have one leader and for me thats where the game is at its best
Yesterday i played two games against Skaven with my Trueblades. And sadly it fits what you said. The second game was fun since we had the twist that each unit with half or less HP gained 2 strength and attacks. The skaven gnawed right through my low toughnes and made them half life in one go, but then the buffed backlash kicked them right out of the field. But those two extra attacks pointed out the problem, low amount of attacks. With this buff, all skills felt much more impactfull.
I kind of feel like they need a battle trait something like; Martial Coordination: If this fighter is within 1" of another friendly figher. This fighter adds 1 to its attacks characteristic. It would solve the attacks issue and encourage mono-trueblades builds, giving them the attacks to actually do things without actually being busted thanks to needing a buddy all the time.
I respect your opinion but I think you are mistaken about the untamed (I've played them alot). They have diverse flavourful abilities, a good new trait and can dish out some damage, force pull opponents, have decent movement themselves. What is not to like? B+ at least 😉
I think even taking the ballista into account, if you build wildercorps only axes on the scouts, spears on everything else, double xbow and dog lord; It's a real good warband in most cases.
