6:00 I've seen some scunts on hightower that are just a bitch and a half to deal with cause they use stock. Stock scunts can three shot Heavies for crying out loud, especially when they're jumping around the poor bastard's head and he's trying to keep up with his aim. That poor bastard being me. lol I'd rather deal with Soda Poppers cause they at least have to take a second to full reload their clip where stock has 6 damn shots in it.

You owe me five pounds English sterling, because not only do I remember the Shortstop exists, but it's also my main Scout primary. Though I'm pretty lousy as Scout, so I lean towards the less meta Scatterguns anyway.
I also definitely thought soda popper should be #1 at first, purely because of how punishing it is to miss, how sweaty it gets in the moment of the two bursty shots, and using all the jumps at the same time is tryhard asf. But then I remembered its banned in comp, the home of the hardest of tryhards. Pretty good list! I'd probably switch 6 and 5 personally.
Speaking for my experience mainly being a F.A.N. user when playing Scout: definitely true that I like going for the environmental kills, but honestly that's about it on my accuracy to either category you listed. More than anything, the big draw of it for me is the extra mobility (the same reason why Winger is my most used secondary other than Bonk)... which I know Soda Popper can do better, but only temporarily.
As an actual Try Hard Scout (not Comp, I preffer chaotic 12V12, queing on my own and doing my own thing.) I am typing this before the video starts, I will continue this comment live and share my own feelings, my personal prediction for the most try hard primary would the Stock, it's what I use most often, it's consistent, powerfull, reliable, I wish the other primaries were better to be able to mix things up more without sacrificing that sweet sweet top score, but hey, the fun of the Baby Face Blaster actually makes up for it, but that's kind of it, short stop is good, but it doesn't fit my play style, I'm too agressive to make good use of it. Back Scatter, I guess I agree??? It's so underrepresented it's hard to tell, that thing's fun, it's a shame it's so unnuseable, it deffinitely needs a buff, not sure how to buff it, but it needs a raise, I think a lot more people would start using it if it was stronger, because it's actually cheeky fun to run around with. Baby Face, my meme loadout gun, yeah, that sounds right, it's the gun I pull out when I want to goof around, it's a bit weak, but at the same time, doing well with it tickles the try hard side of my brain and makes me want to say "I used this thing and I still won, I'm so good at this game.", so, yeah, a bit of a badge of honour in a way, but yeah, it's a funy meme. Shot Stop less casual than Baby Face and more than FaN? For real? Ok, I mean, I guess... it's better tho, like actually, it just is, FaN kinda sucks, FaN users need to give the Soda Popper a try, Soda Popper is literally just the FaN but good. But yeah, back to the Short Stop, respect to the people who can make it work, it has high potential but it requires a different play style and requires different skills compare to the other Scout primaries. Shoving people back into their spawn to taunt them is kinda funny. Force a Nature, huh, yeah, makes sense when you put it like this. I agree. Also, to anyone who uses the FaN, give the Popper a try, it's the same gun, but good. You will like it. Soda Popper, yeah, I agree, harsh, but I agree. This thing is genuinely good, I'd say it's the one gun that actually isn't worse than the Stock for Scout, this one is a true sidegrade, I much preffer the consistency of the Stock tho, but this thing is no laughing stock. Also, if you are a FaN user, give the Popper a try, you will see that would will end up a little higher on the scoreboard, great gun. Stock, yup, full correct, this thing is so well ballanced and conssistent, when I do well, I know it's all me, and when I do poorly, I know it's all me, if this thing kills you, you can't blame it, if you die holding this thing, you can't blame it, it's such a beautifull gun, I love it. Now the question is what secondary you run with it, if it's a stock pistol, like I do, heh, fine, the pistol is the perfect back pocket item to finish someone off after having missed your meat shots, consistent, reliable, on the other hand, if you have the milk instead, bro, chillout, it's just a game, calm down, everything will be fine, no need to scream, breath in, breath out, maybe swap to Medic and hang around the back line of the choke point healing your mates for a bit while listening to chill tunes, it's what I do when I get on tilt, you keep being usefull and seeing people get thankful for the over heal is nice in a different way than taunting someone after getting a domination on them, in fact, this should go for everyone who isn't a medic main, your not doing well and it's starting to get really frustrating? backline Medic is always needed and medium intencity casual work, no need to do the big try hard medic push and all, just keep the back liners alive, pop uber to counter opposing ubers and banners. This video was much better than the first one.
It’s likely that if more people starting using the soda popper more often it would get the reputation of a tryhard scout’s primary of choice quick. But as if right now I mostly see it used by people who just want a sidegrade of the FaN or gibus scouts who saw that it was banned in 6s and thought it was op. I think when you said that soda popper scouts like to talk about “bust damage” it’s these people who have no idea about the weapon real soda popper users (especially the tryhard) will talk about the hype meter being why the weapon is kinda busted. As for your community’s current vote I agree with it. Well idk where you got the “soda popper scouts claim to be from a highlander team sterotype” from I’ve personally never seen that. Like your content btw.
I personally like using the Soda Popper and Back Scatterer, mainly since it isn’t busted like stock or has weird niches like the other guns. Just give me a balanced gun with special features with them, a pistol of my choosing and my shitmas fish and I’m good to go

Funny how people think that the scattergun is the most try hard when I main the scattergun along with the bonk atomic, imo the most casual of the scout secondary.
Surprised the shortstop isn't any higher. I've seen a good amount of "tryhard" scouts use the shortstop because they're practically trying too hard to impress people that they can aim better than stock scouts due to its less pellets and tighter spread.
I never understand why the crit-a-cola is widely viewed as very hated even though crit trading is the gimmick and you give up your pistol for it. The time I did play TF2 I thought it was a fun combo with any primary (except back scatter) and I thought it was strange that people flamed me for using it years ago. At least I get that Scouts got better over the years in general, but I liked any weapon that enabled mini crits to avoid the range fall off and it isn't as crushing as regular crits.
Taking votes from the broad community is 100% the worst way to rank a range of opinions As a Scout main, I can tell you that due to the FAN's poor damage performance & great mobility, it by far the most casual weapon. But because the community isn't comprised of Scout mains, they'll rank other weapons they've never used as casual since there's a lack of love to *TRY* to use them. Do you wanna know what weapon you need to _TRY_ to use? The B F fucking B. Because of how many Gears it shifts against you during gameplay, you have to take as much control of it as possible in order to achieve anything. This list is almost completely shuffled. Not a single weapon deserves to be where it is placed.
