Personally, I feel like the strongest villain Marinette defeated was actually before when she became guardian, back in the end of season 3 when she had to face Cat Blanc. He was single handily the strongest villain Gabriel ever created (even if it was in an alternate universe), and Marinette had to face him alone, unlike in most other cases where she had Cat Noir to help her. This was also one of my favorite episodes cause it’s the one time I feel like she was actually being challenged as Ladybug, even if there was a bit of plot armor.
My list based on outfits: 1. Guardian Ladybug (More Iconic than OG, and doesn't feel like an eyesore) 2. Scarabella 3. Joan of Arc 4. Mr. Bug 5. Hipolyta 6. OG Ladybug 7. Antibug 8. Monarch Bug (he always has the worst outfit despite being a famous fashion designer)
I think Mister Bug deserves a deeper dive at least based on the Miraculous. When he uses Lucky Charm he gets exactly what he needs. And I don't think that was a fluke. It was dual purpose. I firmly believe that its Adrien's straight forward attitude that factors into it while Marinette is meticulous and a bit 'extra' which is why Miraculous forces her to work her brain. The fact is Catwalker and even Dearest Family just opened the floodgates. The Hero could get so much further with their powers if that's what they REALLY want. Marinette could just WANT a specific tool bad enough and the Miraculous would probably give it to her. Yes it gives her the best tool for the job but some of them realistically would never ever work like the one where they fought Mr. Pigeon for the first time is infamous. Point being there's no reason why the Lucky Charm can't create what the user wants. ShadowMoth got a more powerful Akuma simply because he wanted it bad enough. Ladybug with simple advice from a hero who's seen way less action than her just told her she could make magical charms. Sounds like I'm getting off topic. I just want to make it clear that of all the characters Adrian as Misterbug opened up the Magic A for the Ladybug Miraculous and it feels like as big an expert Marinette is with her "Mari vision" seems like she could save a lot of trouble by producing exactly what she needs.
I believe that a lucky chance gives that subject to a person who is able to solve this problem. After all, when a mirror fell out to Mister Bug, it was not intended to reflect Reflecta's shots, but to be used as a coin. it depends on the person, because Marinette is able to solve more difficult tasks, and Adrien, as you rightly said, is straightforward.
@@samsonthe80yearoldhedgehog62 Tbvh Marinette is a weirdo and doesn't even deserve to be Ladybug or guardian. The show would be, character wise, much awesome if it was Lukanette and Adrigami, with Marinette as a mouse hero and Kagami as Ladybug. Kagami is serious and not a creepy stalker, which unfortunately Mari is. She would make a much better Ladybug. The name Kagami means mirror, and so she would mirror the miraculous of destruction, being the opposite, a down to earth creator. Cat Noir is responsible too, and Adrien is perfect. Some hilariousness is necessary. Who agrees?😊
I'd put Mr. Bug above Scarabella. Both times his Lucky Charms were straight forward and the second time he instantly knew what to do with it. This, to me at least, says that Adrien has ultimate trust in the Ladybug Miraculous. and that's the biggest key to winning any battle with it.
I think the Lucky Charm is based on what the wielder would do, not their trust on the Miraculous. Marinette's Lucky Charm is complicated because she tends to overcomplicate things, while Adrien is more simple and straightforward.
Mr. Bug was done dirty by the show in order to make Marinette look better Monarbug was, once again, done dirty and defeated by plot armor Scarlet Fate was good, but overall a traitor so she really doesn't count as a hero Ladybug is just, every ounce of her being screams plot armor, the show puts her on some sort of pedestal and as stated by Thomas, quote on quote: She is better than everyone else. Though credit is due where it's due, her early inexperienced season 1 self, without any experience of using a miraculous, she was great, flawed but that's exactly what made her great Scarabella was a 10/10, amazing, not oozing with plot armor and since she already had experience with a miraculous and working alongside Ladybug, she kinda had an idea of what she's doing (just like a certain blonde guy but we can't have nice things) and she did it very well, she was, of course flawed but that's what makes her the best Ladybug
@@darriongeorge5137 True! I mean we see her as Rena Rogue but she's more of smoke and mirrors, not much of a fighter so I can see that being a problem too.
Thomas said it was beacuse she didn't want to become superhero first time she transformed. The suit is looking like superhero wants, but beacuse Marinette didn't want to transform in the first place, she didn't imagined her style and got basic suit
9:00 I'm glad that you brought this up, yes most of the Amazon women were the daughters of Ares, (some may have been adopted who knows) but the hippolyta was his direct daughter, _(or granddaughter, since her mother might have also been a daughter of Ares)_ I'm not sure if she was a demigod, but considering that her father gave her a girdle which granted superhuman strength, it's possible. Extra info: In one myth or a version of a myth, there's a lot of version to these things, Hippolyta got kidnapped by Hercules or someone and the Amazons invaded Athens to save her but they lost, so not sure if the Amazon army was that weak or that the Athenian army that good. Again, this is just one version.
I'd have another reason Scarabella is lower than First 3 seasons Ladybug; in her debut, she had to rely on Marinette to guide her through. She knew she was Ladybug, and knew that when she could not figure out how to use the lucky charm, Marinette would. Marinette is just tailor made for the Ladybug role; she's creative and resourceful enough to think of ways to use the lucky charm naturally. I mean, she literally creates for a living, it makes sense.
That's was the case in earlier seasons, in 4/5 seasons he just be seen as a sidekick with ladybug being the Gardian and the Leader of the superhero team, Like batman and robin.
I personally feel, as unpopular as this opinion is, mister bug was WAY better than scarabella. mister bug did pretty well given circumstances and in the second lucky charm he knew what to do and trusted the miraculous and knew that whatever the lucky charm he could use it and had faith in it. scarabella was good but I personally believe the faith mister bug had in the miraculous beat any doubt he had which led to their win. the first time they switched miraculous, he was a bit of a hot mess however, I believe that it was majorly plot armor which is reoccurring throughout the entire series making ladybug look like the good amazing smart hero and Adrien/chat noir look like the helper or sidekick.
I really wish their designs were more stylistic rather than just a basic suit relying on the patterns. In any case, I wish Adrien had gotten the ladybug miraculous over Marinette (and maybe give Chloe the cat miraculous).
@StrawberryStar I think it'd be good to INSPIRE creativity in Adrien, ezpecially given his controlling father. It'd be a great story of independence. Plus Chloe with the power of destruction could be a metaphor for the cycle of abuse she experiences: her mother abuses her, and she in turn abuses her best friend, sister, and peers.
@StrawberryStar You don't have to talk down to me: I understand how the CM works; I'm saying that's the point. Chloe would go too far, hurt everyone, and Adrien would have to clean it up. Chloe would be scarred and learn from this mistake (given a writer who doesn't have wishy-washy intentions for her).
I guess you can say the more selfish the ladybug weirder, the worse they are. But the better known the hero, smarter, and experience. That makes the best bug and agree with the rankings.
Same, I hate that most people consider him a side caracter and that how he is treated in the show, I mean the show name has cat noir in it too but it looks like the writers forgot that wich it's upsetting me so much
I think mister bug does better. The viewing of the episodes he is in, shows the different head space and how different the miraculous can be used. First with a straight forward answer and second with a way to convince his teammate he knew the identity of the villain. Which I mean come on, marinette should have realized that too, I mean she stalks adrien so she has to see and know about his den mother. And then I think I would add the copies at the same rank or slightly lower than anti-bug. The wax statues, the dream one, etc etc. Pretty much all fake ladybugs that are villains (minus senti-bug) all use the same freaking sword as their lucky charm. Like.... I would like to see some variety in their evil. They are evil copies of ladybug and they make a sword? the same sword!
I think matured Cat noir's Cataclysm grants the some power that are: Matter disintegration Probability manipulation ( I mean bad luck) Energy absorption Akuma/Amok elimination Energy detonation Also I have a question: What happens when a Amok gets out from the amokatized objects & gets out????!!! I think that this Amok will duplicate itself & the Amoks infects ones emotions and turns them into different kinds of senti monsters like Lepidoptitan,Reflekdoll,Lollipop boy,Senti bug,Optigami,Light eye,Guiltrip,Mega leech ,Senti collector,Feast,Banana boom boom,Senti alec,Senti carapace,Sentibubbler,Hacksan,Kuro neko,Strikeback. Simply a Amok equals to a lot of different dangerous senti monsters who is much more powerful than a army of akumatized characters.
friend, the first time Lady Bash lost because of the risk, and the second time she didn’t lose, the talisman suggested that there was no need to act yet.
5:40 He's basically a victim of the plot armor, he did overpowered ladybug and cat noir in hand to hand combat but can't to REGULAR TEENAGERS???? With extra powers and the most powerful miraculous
In my opinion, Marinette is the worst. I mean she does get the job done but until she used the power of creation, she did the minimum. Like you said, after she became the guardian, she got better.
I may not like Marinette, but I have to agree that she is the strongest Ladybug holder. Almost OP if you think about it🤨. Out of 110 episodes she lost once in the season 4 finale, but S5 Ep1 she wins again, so yeah. Ladybug is the most cabaple.
I would like to randomly add, with the whole felix getting miraculous thing, not only did she have no way to predict it, but her mind was also altered by risk, she wasn’t fully able to weigh up pros and cons of giving ‘adrien’ the miraculous. If she did have the ability to think properly she might have second guessed herself or thought of someone else. (This is based on my memory of the ep which I haven’t watched in a while so I might be talking rubbish or there might be things I’m missing)
@@topgame2645 1.MonarCat isn't a thing though, it's Shadow Noir from season 4 2.Bug Noir didn't debut officialy yet, don't spoil for pepole who don't want to see the leaks.
It's funny that Wonder Woman got brought up, because that dumb WW1984 reminded me of Miraculous Ladybug. The main villain turns someone else into a monster, there's wishing involved, the way Diana uses her lasso (especially with the spinning) is just like Marinette and her yo-yo, she cares more about a guy than saving the day, and she learns a lesson even if it makes no sense.
4:05 I think that the lucky charm depends on the person, like the outfits of the hero’s. when we have mister big, his lucky charm is straight forward. Like his personality( the mirror in reflekta) But when it comes to Marinette her lucky charm requires critical/ over thinking
Cat Noir should not be a sidekick. Adrien is a really interesting character. He should have more screen time. The show's name is Tales Of Ladybug And Cat Noir, not just Tales Of Ladybug after all.
Okay, I just want to if the current/guardian Ladybug is that powerful and not gonna strong as well imagine just imagine how much more powerful an/the Ladybug will be at not just full power without the time limit but also all the experience and the experience of beating/taking down Gabriel/Monarch by the end of this season (hopefully, it is to happen this season right) So yeah just I don't even know who's really gonna be the next Butterfly holder but they probably have some will I guess
side note the macaroons that make ladybug astrabug are limited cos you need a teer of laughter from a monk and the other stuff is gone since she doesnt knoow what they are or where they some from so just keep that in mind.
In my opinion: 1.Hippolya: Demi god + Strongest amazons in combat + miraculous = godlike. 2. Joan of arc: Combat experience + fought a highly experienced catnoir invader ready to kill. 3. Monarchbug (No plot armor): Combat and miraculous experience like we saw in senti Ladybug and Scarlet moth episodes + extra other powers. 4.Ladybug: IQ 5. Mr. bug: experience in superhero stuff more than scarabella. 6. Scarabella 7. Anti bug
I almost agree with everything, so I might argue with the following. Monarch is the worst ladybug holder, cause yeah antibug "lucky charm" was stupid, but in my opinion her power is more an interpretation of Monarch of how the power works (after all he is the one who grants the powers and that sword appeared again when the ladybug nightmare appear) Also, he could create his own lucky charm to defeat the teenagers or obtain Tikki lucky charm, cause it is proved that different holders can keep the effects of their power active even if other holder use the same power, proved with the peacock Also, Felix stealing all the miraculous is Marinette fault(although not all her fault), cause: 1) It is not the first time that she cause that a miraculous end in the wrong hands, and also it is not the first time she is the cause Gabriel got all the miraculous. 2) As a guardian she was not ready at all to be one, her obsession with Adrien cause her AGAIN to lose all the miraculous to Gabriel. Also she lies and manipulates Chat Noire, her counterpart that is supposed to balance her, she being the guardian made her super powerful and versátil, but also turn her into the weakest link, if she fails, it is almost game over (something that happened in the season for finale). If Ladybug got akumatized instead of just losing the miraculous, it would be game over cause Chat noir would not have the means to help her, he doesn't know who are the other holder and doesn't have the access to the rest of the miraculous. But what happened was that she made a mistake and lose all the miraculous cause of that dynamic of not trusting Chat Noire, something that she admits was one of her biggest mistakes as a guardian. Something that would be smarter was entrusting chat noir with half of the miraculous, that would balance the roles and even if one fails, the other have the means to support and save the day without forgetting that there would be an actual GOOD reason of them not knowing each other identities. (Also if Chat Noir was involved in the process of choosing the holders, he would know that the one with the dog miraculous was Felix) Also, she didn't need to go for Adrien to choose him as a holder. Cause there was already a holder, and even if she was searching for someone who was not affected with risk (even though she let the other infected heroes fighting against a sentibeing who can steal their powers), it would have been better that she used the dog miraculous herself or ask ChatNoir to use it instead of just demanding him to not contribute with the fight (again, not trusting his equal) And yeah, Marinette is capable, smart with a lot of potential, but her actions proves that Sun Han is right with that the role of guardian is something that you need to train for it. (And I hate to agrtwith Sun han cause he is useless, pathetic and disappointing) BUT Marinette being a bad guardian is not entirely her fault. It is the fault of Fu and Sun Han Fu encouraged the unbalanced dynamic of Ladybug and Chat Noire, keeping the latter in the dark while Ladybug got access to all information and powers. And Sun han disappearing and not guiding Marinette in her new role, he just appears to be scolded by Ladybug and Chat Noir.
A rebuttal to the idea always use the astro bug is that it will a bit of a hassle to make the magical macaroon every time there's an akuma attack. We seen that that the power is a one time use after it is ingested and there's been multiple occasions where there was more than one akuma attack in a single day. Say that astro bug is in use 100% of the time and she supplies enough magical macaroons that would still be an issue because if she doesn't keep track of her supply or the supply to make them run out she won't have an Astro bug on standby if the akuma does go to space.
We know that Joan was captured yes but maybe she didn't have her miraculous cause after all the only info we have on her is about when she was a holder. The moment she gave that up the miraculous couldn't record any info on her. And considering the fact that the info in the ladybug miraculous ends at when she fled with the cat knight she probably didn't have her miraculous at the time of her capture
Two of my fan-made Miraculous’s are the Phoenix, Kwami: Flaiir power Telekinesis and Fire, and the Griffin, Kwami:Galle power Iron fist and can telepathy control his feathers . Both holders are unknown but they are twins, but these Miraculouses are the hardest to deal with. They are not part of any Miracle Box. The holders are unrecognisable both holders have dirty blonde hair. But the girl’s hair is orange and red. While the guys in Gray and Silver
Tbh, he would’ve won if he had done that. Without the Ladybug Miraculous, Chat Noir can’t repair any damage done during Akuma Attacks. Plus he’s not the most competent solo fighter, so I can only imagine he’d lose sooner or later without Ladybug. Once again, Monarch loses because of Ladybug’s plot armor.
Hey dude, off topic but have you ever thought about turning your Miraculous videos into podcasts? Like the ones that don't focus on visuals as much. I'm 15 and doing homework listening to your videos play out, and I really enjoy it. Just a suggestion though.
i thought it was implied that the fancy miraculous forms were more energy intensive, and while they'll never run out before they need to in the show in theory they hae a shorter burn time then the base form
5:36 we all pretty much already know the reason why mornarch bug lost. Plot Armour and the writers making him think just like teenagers to give the powerless teens a chance to win.
Honestly when you said it wasn’t her fault she lost the miraculous (I think you said that) it kinda was cause she already had a dog miraculous holder or she could of just unified the ladybug and dog and. wam wam bibidi bow never could of lost miraculous
Joan of Arc seems to be a weaker ladybug because her skillset doesn’t involve creativity, it involves strength and destroying. so it would make more sense for her to get the black cat miraculous because it would suit her more. the ladybug miraculous requires thinking and the cat miraculous requires strength
I would like to disagree with you the lucky charm doesn’t give the wielder the item they need they give the host what they want or wish for marinette mind is scrambled and complex so she just ask for an item that can help her so the lucky charm gives her what she wants any item that can help her for example catbug used lucky charm wanted a mirror and got a mirror tikki wanted sweets and got sweets
Listen you can like Mari if you want we're fine with that but she is indeed a mary sue. Even if she stopped stalking, her winning every episode in some of the most unrealistic ways is a mary sue thing.
@@brodypl5804 But Marinette makes mistakes - a Mary Sue, by definition, NEVER makes mistakes. She even admitted she did wrongly with Adrien and learned from her past actions. Her trying to take control of everything in her life (including her relationship with Adrien) was a flaw, and Ladybug winning every time is just a product of Miraculous being a kids show, everything *has* to work out almost every episode. In season 4, every time she did something wrong, she realized it and fixed it.
Yes, even though she will be Mary Sue, even a stalker, Marinette is the main character, like Adrian, she has been with us from the very beginning, I will always love her, like Adrian!❤❤🧡💛💛💚💙💟😌😌😌🐞🐞🐞🐞🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛
8:25 I don't get it ..... Where am I as a long time fan of this show failing..... WHO IS THIS ?!.? Someone pls tell the source...is it a comic or something?!??
@@I-like-cows the 4 seasons, the season finaled expect the finale of the Fourth season, the cap where monarch got the two miraculous he wanted, everything
The strongest wielder has to be Jesus. (Thomas astruc confirmed that Jesus was a holder of the ladybug miraculous I kid you not that man is on something)
Slightly unrelated tangent about the Horrible Names; Both Ladybug and Mr Big sucks ass, but the fact that the creators thought it was creative to "mirror" the Title While FULLY IGNORING IT! Why isn't his name Lordbug? Why isn't his name JUST ladybug??? The ladybug is a CREATURE, ITS THE NAME OF A CREATURE! This is mot a situation where there is an organic way of making the name "more masculine" because male ladybugs are still ladybugs! And don't get me started on Lady Noir! Lady Noir COMPLETELY removed the actual cat! Chat Noir is a term! It's not something the show invented! But they decided to not remorr the NOIR part, but the actual Animal Part! The miraculous are all Animal Themed, so why the hell is "Lady Noir" completely lacking the CAT! I hate it so much, at least Mr Bug kept the fact that he was a bug, but just any bug. For me, if a name is a good hero name, it has to work in both singularity and a group. A good example is Batman. Batman makes sense in context of himself and in context of a group. Batgirl makes sense in context of herself and in context of a group. Spiderman, Ironman, the Hulk, Thor (a slightly bad name because you might think of Norse Myth, not Marvel Norse Myth) and so on do good. Lady Noir out of context is Lady Black. Who is lady black? No idea, but she's apparently French. Mr. Bug out of context sounds like a host for a children's show! Or like he can however switch between the bug he is! There is nothing tying this names to anything if you don't know the show. They don't even fit into the shows naming scheme! I, personally, like to think it's because Mr. Bug had potential to be a ladybug user, but Lady Noir didn't. Marionette simply cannot be a user of the black cat miraculous, longterm, she would eventually fuck everything up (probably because she's so effing cocky all the time). Adrian has the potential to learn to be a good Ladybug. Marionette has no potential to be anything BUT the ladybug because she is extremely one note. If you read all of this, thanks, lol. I just really needed to vent about how horrible the "gender swap" names where, because they fundamentally break the naming scheme of the show and think they are cute about it
Appearance-wise only, Mr Bug technically looks somewhat decent? But boring, I swear with any alternate outfits for Adrien they're just scared to go with something more interesting (at least Cat Noir is forever the most iconic and no, you won't prove me otherwise) - at least it wasn't Aspik, ugh. Either way, both of those feel like they were made to look worse on purpose to elevate the "main" holder. But the extra bits of black did wonders on him and I'm so glad the new Ladybug suit has those, even if it could have been a bit more intersting than what looks like painted on shorts.
question for thomas rq, HOW DA FAK DID CAT NOIR, PAINT A HELMET WITH RED AND BLACK SPOTS, WITH NAIL POLISH!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!?! NAIL POLISH??!?!? IF HE USED NAIL POLISH, IT WOULDVE TAKEN HOURS DUDE.
