Tsurugi's music is just objectively good, very solid guitar playing and riffs. But like you said... it's got this like anime feel that no matter how technically good it is, it's just not the kinda music I like. It's very well made and catchy and everything but uh, not something I would just listen to on my own time.
The tsurugi theme butt rock baseball anime opening analysis is correct, however i love that shit and putting it below carmine is blasphemy (i do not have stockholm syndrome from hearing it nonstop in training mode)
LOL that’s fair, it could’ve been above carmine lmao these were just my 1st impressions, so it’ll definitely change (but i’m sure some of these themes are gonna haunt me after playing online 💀)
Absolutely nothing popped out to me with this sound track I'm shocked to be honest. Sf5 sound track pops hard with tons of songs dat make us want have a fun fight. Guilty gear rev 2 pops and almost all their older titles. Even persona ultimax pops hard. Uni2 kinda sucks hard, so underwhelming, I don't feel like fighting mood with 99% of their songs. just weird because majority 2D anime fighting game themes hit hard.
holy crap how did i never respond to this lol thats actually pretty surprising, are you also comparing this new ost to the old under night soundtrack? uni to me has always had stand out tracks that i love to hear during matches, but i can see how some people wouldn't find them to be that crazy.
