These players are payed, commissioned, contracted to play basketball game, the company even provide health and wellness for them the league knows how to schedule playdate and season length for the players to have rest even kobe played for 20 years without load managemnt. If you load managed you are disrespecting what you are paid for, the paying fans to watch you play. You load manage as long as you want just reimburse the equivalent substantial amount from your absense, it is the players duty to play for the fans, it is the team source of income and you been payed in millions to do that.

For the most part yeah, but I actually see the reasoning behind AD at #2. You gonna give it to Giannis, who for the 2nd year in a row had the best record in the NBA and came up small, failing to get out of the weaker conference cus he can't shoot? You gonna give it to Kawhi, who fairly heavily load managed all throughout the regular season, got 5 months off, and then crapped the bed in multiple close out halves against an inferior Nuggets team? Harden, who for the umpteenth year has shown that the Rockets' system that was specifically designed to max out his value and turn Harden into an MVP caliber player fails to win? Steph coming off injury and basically not playing last season, KD coming off injury and not played in over a year? At this point AD, who was stellar in the regular season and playoffs, is the safe bet for 2nd best player.

@@muhweei1516 if Giannis’s supporting cast could step up in the playoffs that would be dope. Also Giannis has not done bad in the playoffs. He averaged 25 points on like 45 to 50 percent shooting I believe. He won defensive player of the year and can guard all five positions decently to amazingly. He has better offensive efficiency also. The supporting cast did not step up during the playoffs except when the bucks were down 3-0 to the heat, which by then it was useless.
