You said fury 325 has a speed that nearly matches millennium force. How does it nearly match it if it’s faster than millennium force fury 352 95mph vs millennium force 93mph
I know Magnum isn’t for everyone but for me, that’s one of the very best Cedar Fair coasters. Incredible setting, innovative coaster, I love the hand welded jankiness that gives it character and thrill, and of course the insane sharp airtime finale is the stand out portion of the layout (aside from maybe the novelty of the first drop as the first hyper coaster and also with one of the best coaster views in the world). I’ve ridden it dozens of times over the course of a few hours and never got that beat up. Coasters don’t need to be silky smooth. I appreciate the wildness.
What did you think was bad about Demon at Six Flags Great America? I’ve ridden both and they where pretty much identical to me so I’m wondering if it’s gotten worse over time. It was closed this summer when I was there.
I’m pretty spoiled with Kings Island as my home park. It’s been consistent all my life as being one of the best. And Cincinnati being centrally located to many great parks.
I think Viper is the best Arrow looper. I can’t decide if I like Magnum or Desperado more for Arrow hypers. The Big One at Black pool does not even come close to the other two and Titan in Japan was really good also. Both Desperado and Magnum have some of the best airtime in the world
I had fun rides on Anaconda and I don’t get why people hate on it so hard. I also try to see the best in coasters when I’m riding because I find when I’m looking for negatives about the coasters I don’t enjoy my experience at parks as much as I do when I look for the positive aspects of the rides.
Here are some thoughts I have on the rankings for the Ohio coasters -I agree with you that Millennium Force is still an elite coaster, although I don’t rank it quite as high as you do. -I’m 50/50 with you on Valravn and Gatekeeper. On one hand, I do agree that they do get some underserved flak. But on the other hand, I don’t think they’re quite as good or intense as you say they are. I prefer Raptor over both of those. -Gemini and Invertigo are very underrated. I actually have Gemini over Valravn (although gatekeeper is a little better). Invertigo is my #6 at Kings Island. -I feel like there are much more people who say magnum is overrated than people who say mystic timbers is overrated. I’m still a little salty that I wasn’t able to get on magnum because it was closed. -I agree with you on all 3 of the B&Ms at Kings Island. -I think that Maverick is a little overrated, but it’s still an awesome multi-launch coaster nevertheless.
Michigan's Adventure is my home park, so I was actually surprised to find Shivering Timbers was #8 on your list. It does kinda hurt hearing you say to skip Michigan's Adventure at the end of the video, but the reasoning is sound for that claim. Though I would argue that Cedar Fair would likely start investing more into Michigan's Adventure if they saw a large and sustained spike in attendance. It really is hard for a park to become good or event great when their parent company doesn't want to invest into the park.
Dear Cedar Fair... When you shut down Great America, can we please have Flight Deck or Rail Blazer? Sincerely, you're least favorite step-child, Michigan's Adventure.
Did I miss you ranking Silver Bullet at Knott's? I worked Silver Bullet and Xcelerator for eight years and Xcelerator zero to 83 mph in 2.3 seconds is great the 6 inversions with your feet dangling on Silver Bullet is the best.
I noticed you have a pretty low tolerance for rough rides. I find some and I say some rough rides really fun and they have a lot of personality when there is some jank to the track. That’s why I love wild Arrow coasters
I think it’s all subjective. There are rides most think are rough that I can handle without a problem and others that I can’t tolerate. I tend to think I have a better tolerance for most wooden coasters and I’m getting better with Arrows as I get taller.
@@ThemeParkAvenue It’s definitely subjective and that’s why I don’t like to criticize anyone’s coaster opinions. I’ve been an enthusiast for a long time
I absolutely love Mamba and steel Force! I love those Morgan Hypers especially in the back car. We had so much fun this summer riding it with no trims at Worlds Of Fun this July!!! Good times noodle salad.
Maverick and Magnum are my favorites coasters at the Point. The Beast, Diamondback and Mystic Timbers are my favorites at Kings Island. Ghostrider is my favorite woodie in California. I loved it even before the retrack.
Man, there’s a lot of Canada’s Wonderland in the bottom quartile here. Which is just as well, since they’re gonna have to remove rides to build any new ones. Surprised to see Minebuster in your top half.
You haven't ridden Yukon Striker at Canada's Wonderland yet? Then I suggest you wait until riding it before doing a countdown of all Six Flags and Cedar Fair roller coasters together. You might as well since there are a few new roller coasters opening up from both companies just around the corner.
I'm basically a Steve hater because I have it at #5 (overall). I feel like that says something about what a masterpiece it is, when even your haters have you top 5.
@@ThemeParkAvenue fair enough i gues i just havent been on enough rollercoasters to accurately gauge although I dissagree with it being lower than corkscrew(valleyfair) and high roller
My top 10 Cedar Fair coasters are 10: Orion; 9: Intimidator; 8: Intimidator 305; 7: Ghostrider; 6: Shivering Timbers; 5: Millennium Force; 4: Behemoth; 3: Diamondback; 2: Fury 325; 1: Steel Vengeance, with I-305 and Shivering Timbers being the only one of those ten I've not yet ridden. This quality of coasters scale on your countdown gets steeper at these intervals: Your #37, #25 #16; #11, #4 and your top two are prefect. Thanks for posting!
I agree with you about Valravn. Maybe some people just hate vest restraints more than we do. I agree about the line. I love the ride, but I'm not waiting 100 minutes for that.
You are definitely the only one 😂. Never in my life have I heard someone call corkscrew smoother than gatekeeper. You got a secret riding method that only works for arrow’s lol?
@@ThemeParkAvenue tbf I’m one of the Gemini super fans you mentioned in the vid. Easily my favorite coaster not just at Cedar Point but of any coaster I’ve ever ridden. It’s just so pure and perfect to me.
Such a fun video! Can you do all the parks in the SeaWorld chain? Also...our lists are VERY different, take Carrowinds for example Hurler was the WORST coaster ride I have ever been on in my life and Copperhead Strike was my favorite in the park...yes I'm a weirdo and like Copperhead more than Fury.
Orion: the 2nd best Hyper at KI😂 Agree with you on Diamondback! I love Goliath and also Mako, depending on how its running can be better, but overall i say DB as well! Top 5 CF Coasters: SteVe, I-305, Maverick, Fury, Milli...In that order! (Mystic Timbers honorable mention)
as someone who has not been to a single cedar fair park it is awesome to see people with opinions that arent the standard boring normal takes, its fun to have unique opinions edit/update: RAAAAAAH BANSHEE ON TOP I HAVE NOT BEEN ON IT BUT IT LOOKS SO COOL AAAAAH
I live in Ohio and Cedar point is about an hour away from me and I just recently went on millennium force and Maverick for the first time I’m hoping next time I go I’m gonna be able to ride steel vengeance though it looks super fun
