For the most part the remake is a fusion of the best out of ds1 and ds2. I dont believe it makes og not worth playing anymore tho. Both are amazing. Pineapple
The first two games gave you that unexpected feeling of terror where in sections of the map seem dark and scary but without necromorphs only then you suddenly have one spawn right behind you
Tbh,dead Space 2 is boring for me. I don't like it very much. Dead space 3 is really awesome, because of the creative action with moderate horror. Creative because of weapon grading system Many don't like it because it's OP,and lessens horror, but I like it. And it also has multiple places to explore in the gameplay like the spaceship and the ice planet But dead space 1 is the best of the 3 as it is epitome of horror,I was feeling little scared every moment in the game. There is a feeling of loneliness and unknown horror, and lots of stuff It was more 70% horror and 30.% survival horror
@@reaperman3217 the ones that were entirely optional and you could complete the game over 100 times without buying them? Yes i do remember and i don’t care. Microtransactions are fine if they dont hinder your performance by not buying them.
Hot take. The second game is better than the first game. The story is a bit improved because Issac can talk. The gameplay is the first game but improved in almost every way. More necromorph types, the limb firing mechanic, the item stomp requirement, and the zero g overall. And it feels extremely immersive because of the fact that game is all in one shot(no loading screens whatsoever). Also I think the sprawl is a more interesting location than the Isshimera because of more variety and we get to see a necromorph outbreak as it happens.
At the end of extraction you can hear the ship radio say "this is the usg kellion responding to your distress call" which is what the guy says in the OG game at the very beginning before you even start playing.
If the last of us could turn into a TV series I would love to see a movie about dead space or maybe a TV show of Dead Space I mean Minecraft and borderline are going to turn into a movie which I know it's going to be successful why not have Dead Space in that conversation❤
I love DeadSpace 3 actually more than Deadspace 1. At least there is no Asteroid destroying missions and Isaac a voice Protagonist instead of a Mute. Which is more relatable as a character
Amazing how Motive managed to craft a better version of Dead Space, considering how good the OG was. Having said that, this is not a perfect game, it is a solid 9 for me tho. I would have loved to see at least one new/discarted enemy (the stronger variations exclusive of NG+ aren´t new enemies). The same goes for the locations, at least one new location to this game (sewers, expanded Aegis VII) would have been fenomenal. And last but not least a more challenging Impossible mode as I think it is still way to easy even on that mode. But at the end these are just my preferences for it to be a solid 10. What are yours?
mobile is missing and even though its a mobile game its a really good prequel to dead space 2 and the main character has audio logs in 2 so its not like its disconnected from the series, its more of a game than ignition could ever hope to be so i feel like it should of had a spot here but thats just me
Totally Tublar Jonathan my favorite Dead space game is Dead space 2 because not only its a really good game but every time I play Dead space 2 I feel like a completely bada$$ especially in the end because not only you're escaping but you're blowing up an entire station with the Marker as well.
DS2- DS1- DS3. 2 was the best one was great and 3 I liked a lot but since they ended it, I was like y? Then u find out that EA basically over rides the main developer and ruined it so the story is a bit of a bumer but none the less I still will play the suit out of it. It still has great parts to it and I think the errie vibe to me is still there so it is wut it is. The DS1 remake, I haven't played it yet and ya I can't wait.
Dead Space 2 is by far more superior than the original and the remake imo ik a lot of people feel the same way too it’s the perfect blend of horror & action and it’s just way creepier than the original & remake even, if they remade DS2 it would be pure nightmare fuel
The only negative thing i can bring up about DS is that is too easy. Even on hard mode the only time i died is becouse i was curious about a death scene.
Is DS Extraction really underrated? While I haven't followed the Wii version, the PS 3 port recieved universal acclaim as one of the best lightgun shooters ever released on a console. If you like this genre, it's pretty much a must-buy from what I've heard..
@@supahflykev aww dude, I feel ya on that. It was a disappointment to see that we as fans were not able to get a 4th and possibly a final DS game at that time.
I love the remake, but there are some details in the OG that i wish was added in the remake that this RU-vidr is covering in his video. such as some behaviors the Slasher in the OG did better then the remake etc. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F1x8C4mBmDE.html
Good video. I actually think that Dead Space 2 is a slightly better game than the Dead Space (2008) but the Dead Space Remake I just played is definitely the top 1 in my list as well. Pineapple
I remember playing the first dead space and telling my buddy to check it out. He did and said I don’t like it. it’s too futuristic. My buddy is an idiot.
Dead Space remake: you all see now? All shitty remakes of other games and movies that make their original counterparts seem better: ……….. Dead Space remake: this is how’s it’s done! This is how you do it!
A bit late on this one. But hot take, the MP in Dead Space 2 was fun as hell and I'm still ticked off EA pulled the plug on the servers last year. For me, DS2 is the best of the bunch, followed by DS Remake, DS3 and DS1. I just found DS1 to be boring at points and I did not enjoy several sections of the game. It's still an awesome game, don't get me wrong. I haven't played any of the console exclusive games, so not including them.
i played only DS2 in 2011 and now DS Remake and i think the remake is S Tier for a horror game. There are not much better games of strictly survival that do it better than DS Remake. Its really that incredible. All this coming from someone that hates survival horror as a genre
Im a late guy in dead space games, ive played 1 back in the day, just replayed all of them, and i didnt expect to love 2 the most I respect 1 its cool and atmospheric, but 2 improves on everything Not rating the remake, its just not appealing that they remove little details
Ignition is only worth playing if you wanna get the locked doors unlocked in dead space 2 and get the hacker suit, so basically just for more ability to explore and collect loot haha
I'm really glad you had the guts to put the remake over the original. I think some people disagree with this but I absolutely think the remake is better. It looks better, it plays better, the changes were great. I think it's absolutely superior
The gameplay in this video is embarrassing. Dude can't aim to save his life. He did one playthrough of every game on Normal very poorly and called it a day. The ranking itself reflects that.
It's not your opinion, it's a fact. D2 even has the highest number of sales in the entire series, over 4 million. D1 is cool but there is a ton of backtracking, and D3 is whatever. The remake is pure trash, it was more concerned with being woke than anything else. The remake was so bad it hardly sold a million copies, and the budget was said to be 100 million. in the year 2015, if a game cost 90 million to make, it didn't break even until it sold 5 million units, so do the math on that lol.
More concerned about being woke? Because a bathroom sign, and little extra lines of text from logs, really took away from the gameplay and level design. Use your critical thinking skills.
My Dead Space ranking is : 1 - DS 2 2 - DS 3 3 - DS Remake 4 - DS Original 5 - DS Mobile 6 - DS Extraction Havent play DS Iginition. And i don't have plans to play it.
