looking at fairy steel as a core instead of FSG actually makes a lot more sense to me so that’s nice to know. also I think priority is really important to not get exploited by endure sets but that’s kinda niche

L take on electric. It’s for sure great to have. Can’t gas up water and then say you don’t want an electric. They break so well and gain momentum

Whats the difference between "Unnecessary" and "Nice to have, not needed"? Like even stuff you never going to use is still nice to have. Any mon extra will never hurt your team it just adds

i would say the difference in my mind was nice to have fits more niche teams that would want to save a spot for mons with whatever role is in the tier, whereas unnecessary i deemed something that you are almost never going to want to prioritize over anything above it when are you gonna tier this 👀

Weather pigeon holes a team sometimes. Especially rain imo.

very true. its a little more open with specifically sun / snow this gen not doing that and being able to build a better team that doesn't solely focus on that weather tho imo

This is why I usually avoid drafting hard weather teams, though I feel like a late round weather option is actually super underrated. Something like a late Abomasnow/Cetitan, or a Politoed/Barraskewda. Also just weather setters on their own tend to be great mons, even if you don't have "obvious" abusers for the weather.
