Wish you included swamp, mountain, sky, and forest police, but good video nonetheless. I do think #1 has the flaw of missing a helipad, but it is probably the best.
I own the 2008 one, the 2011 one, the 2014 one, and the 2017 one. The 2017 one is disassembled, the 2014 one fell off my shelf and broke, 2011 police staton was the most nostalgic because it was the first one I got, and 2008 police headquarters was my favorite one, and i got it in 2019 used off a seller who sold it for only $65. I didnt even BOTHER to get the ones released after that.
I was born in 2002, which means i missed out most of the good lego city sets because I didn't have money to buy them all back then. Now looking at these poorly-designed and overpriced garbage available right now, it is NOT FAIR. I hope terrible sales will get Lego to rethink their design philosophy, or maybe they just discontinue City altogether? btw thank god I bought the 2017 police station
Lucky lucky dood. I used to have the 2014 one. Then life happened and it got thrown out. I aint spending $300 on a new one, I might as well just have an incomplete city then. But tbh, if you look at all of them, none of them are really even that amazing, all of em are just kinda meh.
I grew up with the 2011 police station, so many memories with that one. It’s also the first Lego set I remember ever getting so bonus points for that from me.
Imo switching nr 5 and 4 would be more accurate, in nr 4 the tower thing looks just bad with those big pieces, play features seemed much more fun in nr 5, the building's inside looks rly badly shaped in nr 4, roof as well, and it lacks additional stuff like tiled pavement with a simple but cool street lamp that nr 5 has
2014 was gold. Only one I had as a kid and looked so modern and refreshing. I loved the entire line of it, definitely deserves to be higher. 2005 one just doesn't look as good, it's outdated and the baseplate is terrible.
. . IF ANYONE LIKES READING here ▶️ 0:12 bro when i was small kid i wished to have this 1:14 this looks like avarage build i would build, which would be impressive, if this was build by random parts U has, not like a official set lmao 2:59 I think this set is... Fine.. but this drone, I would replace it at TOP of building from left 4:01 but this was dope one
Honestly I like the new police station, it’s small, and I don’t like the large piece for the angles on the sides of the 2nd and 3rd floors. However that makes it sleeker than if it were made up of a bunch of pieces, and it’s for kids 6+ so it can’t have small parts. I also like that it’s small, because that allows for adding things onto it which can help kids be creative, and be fun for MOC builders like myself. It’s small size also helps keep it more affordable. It also still has everything a police station needs. I’m pretty sure it’s also the only police station with a prison yard. That makes it a great police station. I will say though it’s not nostalgia at all that makes you say Lego was better in the late 2000s/ early 2010s, I’m too young to have played with Lego back then, however Lego was better I wish I could’ve experienced the unlicensed themes from then but I have to use bricklink for that. I already used bricklink for the Thunder driller, and I’m working on getting more power miners sets as well as agents and space police 3. I also miss the design style before 2022 I wish they stuck with more focus on white then the blue.
I have the number one model, my parents bought that set for Christmas when I was 6. A lot of nostalgia! Now are all remakes of the oldest ones mutch smaller and ugly. I'm Sorry to Say this, lego city starting ti the decline.
